They "die" because they need to go home. You don't hang around in cyberspace indefinitely, do you? No, you don't. You log off and when you do that, you die cyberly till you log on again at a later time, meaning your cyber rebirth.

Why? Because time and unforeseen occurrences happen; could be in the wrong place at the wrong time; or simply we're imperfect

What happens next-We return back to the dust that we made from. We like in a deep sleep unconscious of everything. Awaiting the time when God will awaken us.

Our bodies are made from "dust"(biblically speaking), not us. Our bodies return to dust, not us. Our bodies are just mere physical avatars of experience that are disposable and can be discarded after a period of time. Our bodies die, we don't.

Because Adam sinned against God, then judgement was passed upon man. " But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. "Gen.2:17 Death hangs on the neck of every man. In Job 14:1 the spirit of God says, " Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble." Sad news!

The good news is that while death came through the first man, life is given through the last man that whosoever believe in him should not die but have everlasting life. The last man is Jesus.

Of the destiny of the dead, It is appointed unto man to die once, and after that, judgement. And for the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. There is second death which is eternal perdition for disobedient children.

soul exist because of God's love for It.

soul does not die. soul takes on various bodies including the physical body in order to have experiences in the various planes of existence.

at the end of a series of experiences, soul simply drops the body and moves to the next plane to continue in its lessons.

Religion rears its ugly head once more with the acute lack of rationality. We all are on this earth, neither of us has visited the afterlife, and have no experience of thereafter, but a prima facie view is that man would cease to exist, since the means to project life has being lost. So life expires generally. The manner a plant or an animal dies, is likewise that of man.

If there is a contrary view for afterlife,then how can it be verified? Not that we dwell in arbitrary speculation.

Afterlife is so hard to believe because no one has come from the dead to tell us if there is heaven after death.If you want to use bible, bible speak of resurrection to earth not to heaven. Or maybe I missed the chapters (I doubt it) where it talked about the pearly white gates. Then it describe death as unconsciousness and deep sleep.
