Tlhe Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has ruled in favour of Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, in the Osun 2018 governorship election case. The election tribunal judgment had earlier ruled in favour of Senator Ademola Adeleke winner. Oyetola, his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had filed substantive appeals, seeking the setting aside of the decision of the tribunal. Adeleke had also filed a cross-appeal, challenging a portion of the decision. Legit.ng gathered that the lead judgement was read by Justice Jummai Hannatu Sankey. There was also a dissenting judgement from one of the judges on the panel, but majority favoured Oyetola.

My point, the appeal court judgement is purely going to be based on the APC, PDP & INEC actions & inaction. Therefore, no need for this online antagonism. We know no judgement will be acceptable by everyone but there are obvious ruling either in favour of the law or against.
