If Pessi must stay in Barcelona all through, then he must win either COPA or World Cup with Argentina to be amongst the GOATs... You cannot be in one club and play only 2 strong teams and 16 weak teams and keep winning, and claiming GOAT.. All players players considered to be GOATs, played for more than one club, won individual titles, a trophy and/or a senior national trophy Some people claim Pelè played for only santos (which isn't true, since he played for New York Cosmos), however, he won individual and national trophy for his country Pele Maradona ( Napoli- best player and league; Barcelona- best player and league; Argentina- World Cup,Golden ball, COPA,) Zidane (Juventus- league, best player ballondor; Real Madrid- league, UCL,ballondor and many more; France- World Cup golden ball, ballondor, Euros ) Ronaldo delima (Inter Milan, AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid- best player awards, golden boot at different leagues, ballondor etc, Brazil- World Cup, COPA, Golden ball, golden boot) CR7- (Man utd- Best player, golden boot, EPL, UCL ,FA cup, ballondor; Real Madrid -Laliga best player, golden boots, Laliga, UCL, ballondor; Juventus- Serie A, best player; Portugal- Euros, Silver ball, Silver boot, highest goal and assister) Messi by pure football is amongst these names, Buh GOAT status is defined by football play and achievements... So for Messi to be GOAT, like his fans say, let him win something with Argentina pleaseeeee!!! Or else he would just be steps ahead of one club legends like Nedved, Giggs, Totti, Maldini etc, who of course aren't on any GOAT status 3 Likes |

Jokerman: If I were messi, I will join man city sharp sharp....but the truth is that he is not a confident player...he is scared of flopping and age might affect him.... being in one club all his life ...if he flops in another club, just like ronaldinho and Rivaldo both flopped in AC Milan he will b quickly forgotten, coupled with the fact that he never won anything with Argentina.... He will just end up like Johan Cruyff of Ajax... during the Ajax glory days 1 Like |

Jokerman: football analysts and coaches don't view football this way if so messi wouldn't have won the ballon d'or five times. If so ibramovic should have won at least a ballon dor. So the criteria to be a GOAT now means to play in different leagues and will a national trophy? What happens to individual performances and titles? It is obvious that you messi haters and cr7 fans have run out of points since messi outscored cr7 in career goals and are now basing their argument in different leagues and national cup as if it is being done by individual performance and ability to win national cup. If it is by individual ability why is c ronaldo still on one national trophy while he had played alot of national competitions? Where is ronaldo world cup trophy if it is only by individual performance? All i see in all you say is just your personal opinion and it is so unfortunate that it is baseless. Why? Alot(sport analysts, coaches and players) have regarded/regards messi as GREATEST OF ALL TIME (goat) without even proving it in other leagues and you think it is easy. Ask ronaldo who has be jumping from one club to another just be ahead. Messi has put a down alot of records and since the day he started playing football in newell junior boys his name has be written among the GOATs. You hear people, sport analysts, coaches ascribing the name messi to some players like salah(africa messi), messi of goalkeepers etc. And nobody has compared totti, giggs etc to messi. Only haters and those that watch back of their tv set do that. 1 Like |

cr7lomo: who told you he is scared? You will be sitting in your house and be deciding someones life. Sometimes don't take loyalty with cowardice because not everybody always want to be competitive. If you have seen people who don't want to be in limelight you will understand why messi have been in one league. And you guys' opinions don't even bother his ass hole. 2 Likes |
