A man has suggested that washing machines should be banned in Nigeria because, according to him, it's making women lazy.

Stanley Ceeben wrote on Facebook:

"I think washing machine be banned in Nigeria, it has made many women lazy.
Ever since washing machine was introduce and it became affordable, some women now feel washing their husband's cloths with their bare hands makes them a slave in their own husband's house.

And what is wrong with using a washing machine? This guy is so stuck in the past. Anything that reduces stress and time wastage is very much welcome at home.

This is the 21st century for God's sake. The world is fast evolving. If you can't catch up with the present scheme of things then go back to the stone age where you belong. Bush man.

I don't see a big deal in a man watching his own clothes, there are some things a man should do so as to not make his wife feel too pompous, such a man that allows his wife do all that ngs for him will suffer whenever he and his wife have little dispute.

This man saying washing with washing machine is making women lazy is just an uncivilised person, why do people use cars, trains, airplanes, boats as means of transportation? Why they didn't use their legs to walk.
