Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje has instructed the demolition of the building where Alhaji Musa Umar, the District Head who is President Buhari's in-law, was liberated on Tuesday morning from his kidnappers in Kano State. The Magajin Garin Daura was abducted by gunmen on May 1, 2019, in his Daura residence while waiting to perform his 8:00 p.m. prayers. It was learnt that the rescue was carried out on Tuesday morning by the I.G (Inspector General) of Police, Operation Puff Adder Intelligent Response Team in collaboration with Kano state police command. Abdullahi Haruna, Kano state police command spokesman, issued a statement revealing that the District head was rescued unharmed.
