Many Islamic countries reciprocated the US Muslim ban as well, causing USA to loose visafree access to those countries that were initially visa free... one example is Turkey, during the diplomatic row with Turkey, US lost the ability to get e visas from Turkey for a period.
That's why the US dropped on the visafree chart, it's basically a diplomatic thing.

Just check the behaviour of japanese citizens during the last world cup and asian games. The japanese waited after every game their country played just to clean up the section they occupied. Their footballers also cleaned up their dressing room even after losing the final match of the asian cup. If i were a country,it is enough to even make visit visa free for such citizens to my country. The behaviour of citizens have a way sometimes of determining how much access they are given to some countries.

The far East is interesting but the USA has literally everything from wide open plains, massive cattle ranches, massive mountains, snow skiing, hiking camping, beaches, desert, The Appalachian Trail, the Deep South, etc. You can travel the USA in various types of camping vehicles and stay at thousands and thousands of campgrounds that have electrical power, showers, laundry.
