Kaizer Chiefs. Football club has seven players will be at Afcon 2019
Which include nigeria daniel akpeyi

Amakhosi will have at least seven players at this year's Afcon finals. Here is the list of the confirmed Afcon-bound players

#1 Daniel Cardoso

Cardoso was undoubtedly on top of his game two seasons ago, but despite having an average season with Kaizer Chiefs this past campaign, he finds himself in the Bafana Bafana squad for the Afcon 2019 finals.

#2 Bruce Bvuma

The young goalkeeper got the chance to impress as soon as Ernst Middendorp rejoined Amakhosi toward the end of 2018. He featured in all Chiefs' Nedbank Cup matches, and Baxter saw the need to include him in his final squad after working with him during the previous Cosafa Cup editions.

#3 Ramahlwe Mphahlele

Mphahlele spent the better part of last season injured, but he really worked his socks off when he got back into the Amakhosi team. Baxter was criticsed for overlooking Thapelo Morena, but in the end, the 65-year-old mentor opted for the tried and tested Mphahlele.

#4 Andriamirado “Dax” Andrianarimanana

Dax may have not been a regular in his first season with Kaizer Chiefs, but he was influential in helping Madagascar qualify for the Afcon 2019 finals. It is therefore not surprising that he will be in Egypt.

#5 Khama Billiat

Billiat is one of Zimbabwe's main men and probably one of the first names on Norman Mapeza's final squad. He scored a number of goals for Chiefs throughout the season, and was instrumental in ensuring the Warriors' qualification for the 2019 Afcon finals.

#6 Teenage Hadebe

Hadebe did just enough to make the cut in Zimbabwe's final squad, and he will hope to use this as a stepping stone to achieving greater things in his career.

#7 Daniel Akpeyi

Akpeyi is flying to Egypt with the Super Eagles of Nigeria despite the limited game time after joining Kaizer Chiefs from Chippa United at the start of the year.

One thing is for sure, the Super Eagles can't afford to underestimate this unpredictable South African team.

But OP you are indeed super fast. We are yet to shake off the hang-over of yesterday's 2nd round matches and you have already moved on to the Q/finals

Meanwhile, shoutouts to Mo Sallah and the rest of the crew. I am pretty sure that they are yet to wake up from the nightmare of yesternight. I heard that the Egyptian coach got handed his "love letter" right there on the field and that the FA chairman has also resigned{from an authentic source}. Indeed, the race is not unto the swift nor the battle to the mighty. This AFCON portends much more by way of surprises in the days to come.

The underdogs are awake and barking...

Nigeria will handle south africa well

Cos all the Egyptian will also support us

Yeah, you are right. We might have a larger, motley support base come Wednesday.

Expect a sea of green and red shirts working together. An unlikely partnership, but hey, an extra hand is always welcome. Strange friends smiley

Whatever happens in our next game, Please tell Rohr not to field AKPEYI.

The South Africans seem to know him very, very well. They know his low points as a keeper and will exploit them to the fullest. They are so,so confident when they see him in goal.

A word is enough for the wise

South Africa is most organized team in the tournaments, I have been watching their game for a long time, they have a solid defefence, and fast attack, they will beat super eagle if eagle play the way they played against Cameroon

The most organized WHAT?!! sad Did you see them at all in the group stage? Is that how an "organized team" plays? To tell you the truth all the teams in this tourney so far, have displayed varying degrees of inconsistency. SA isn't any different. Don't let the madness of last night get to you.

Nigerians haff started.

"Walkover" "South Africa are our perennial wives" bla bla bla.

This is how you people make mouths before games, at the end you get disappointed. Learn to tone down.

There were FOUR key things that impressed me about South Africa against Egypt:

Their PRESS : They made life uncomfortable for Egypt with a "modern" press as the Egyptians tried to play out from the back.

This could be problematic for us. Neither the duo of Ekong or Omeruo are very assured on the ball. And we are renowned for making back passes too much. That should be something to take note of.

The Hold Up Play of Mathiba: The guy was a beast up front against the physical Hegazi. Held play well and brought in the likes of Percy Tau, Lorch and the midfielders into the game.

Nigerian defenders have to be really physical against him.

Their One-touch Football:
Not even the more technically astute North African teams have played the kind of pass-and-move football the South Africans played at times.

To be honest. It was thrilling.

That kind of passing can cut a defense into two very quickly. We have to be on guard.

Defensive Organization: That man in midfield, Furman, protected the defense SUPERBLY. And the defense played their part too.

In the end, Nigeria possess more than enough firepower to win this game. But it will NOT be a walk over like many are already claiming all over social media.

We play a different style of football from Egypt. And that counts for a lot.

I HOPE of course, the Eagles carry the day.

I was impressed by the way the South African played yesterday.

To me, we're in deep trouble. Their attack is sharp, the defense is well coordinated.

On Wednesday, I want the better team to win. No sentiments, it's not an issue of patriotism but good football.

I like how Nigerians are scared of South Africa

All I know is, we have chop our first and last L in this AFCON against Madagascar. We only need to chop one L in Africa to have sense, the one against SA two years ago, was what gave us sense for the rest of AFCON Qualifiers, now, we have chop L against Madagascar.

E no go happen again for AFCON

To be heartless and hostile and same time kill our fellow African country citizens we know not how to do.

But what our Super Eagles know how to do best they will use to deal with small Bafana Bafana. South Africans should be ready. Nigeria is ready. Super Eagles are coming. We fly! We Win!!
