Virginity is not every thing, I know. Also being a virgin is not a guarantee that someone would make a good wife but not being a virgin is also not a guarantee that someone would make a good wife! And so if all other things are equal, I would choose a vigin.

Virginity is about purity. I truely believe that God's expectation is for everyone to marry a virgin and this is the reason I trip for virgins. To have se x  b/f marriage is called FORNICATION. Now fornication is a sin and the Bible is clear that stiff penalties await all fornicators. Below are some of the Bible has to say about fornicators for info:

A lot will not agree with what I have to say but I'l say it anyways,

Yes being a virgin (man/woman) does not guarantee the person being a good wife/husband but in my opinion, depending on the reason an individual chooses to remain a virgin until marriage and is able to maintain that position, it shows the degree of Intergrity, Honesty, Faithfulness, Self control and Discipline the person possesses.

If an individual chooses to remain a virgin until marriage because of his/her belief in God and because he/she is staying through to his/her standard developed from biblical principles then the possibility of the person being a trustworthy faithful wife/husband is high. And someone with that mentality also has a high possibility of being one who chooses to develop himself/herself morally and thats why the person is most likely going to be one that can be trusted.


So i dont think being a virgin should be condemned because it actually speaks volumes whether we like it or not. But thanks to our depraved and fallen genration, being a virgin is now equated to negative things, its a shame,
