I think we need to make one solid box to box midfield signing one left winger and a strong center back..my concern is the center backs. With kolacinac and monreal am ok. Likewise with ballerin and niles.

But kocieny and injuries, I don't trust. Socrates is solid enough for me. Holdings on is day ( don't know the updates on his injuries) if fit is has shown he can hold his own. Saw him during the first part of last season he was outstanding.

Xhaka was terrific and the only stable thing in midfield for us. Torera and gueodozi were also solid last and am sure they will improve this season. Iwobi was neither here nor there in terms of performance same was mykhki for me on the flanks.however now that pepe has arrive we hope to see improvement. Ozil too was flat.

The attack was and is our biggest strong hold. Only thing that gave me joy last season. I hope they continue this season..

Overall we hope to see improvement like I said
In left attacking midfield(Iwobi and kolacinac, central attacking, ozil, and defence) .

Except very few, African players allow success get into their heads and they stop improving.

I hope he takes after George Weah, Samuel Eto and Drogba

EPL is a different ball game entirely, 22goals and 11assists in league1 isn't enough. The likes of Chamakh and Giroud and Gervinho were top scorers in Ligue1, and they didn't leave up to expectations. But not to forget Lacazette, Mahrez and Hazard who also came from Ligue1 and performed massively well. So I'm still looking at it Sha!
