desiredhome:look, government have a critical role to play for local investors to feel it is safe to create wealth and invest in people, private sector cannot do anything if the government cannot create policies to make the business environment safe for everyone. The president is sleeping QED. Try to raise money for a project and you will hear the reply from an institution or a financier. |

So Buhari was the president of Nigeria when she was growing up? She is referring to governance in Nigeria generally, not pointing finger at a particular president |

Yusman316:I was about saying this, just imagine how some wailers had made it seem she was referring to Buhari |

mercy87: I guess you missed the phrase "whilst I agree with her points"? She's not presenting my case either, maybe yours. And, presenting a case to the world does not mean you have to lie whilst doing so. |

Nukilia: You actually did , but your head is so empty that you don't know the exact thing to respond. If you even want to reply with a message it will definitely be another shallow minded response with your sentimental foolishness |

lexy2014: OK let me explain to you in simple terms since you clam not to understand. All the past leaders instead of building the economy were stealing/looting, you can not eat your cake and have it. Buhari is trying to build the country but with the mentality of myown/myturn mentality is not helping. The looters(opposition) are working against the government hence the insecurity etc. What is the work of the Senate/Representative? Until we begin to love ourselves and doing the right thing like the UK etc, we will still be complaining. 1 Like |

Bizibi: Like I said before, the Nigerian problem is not caused by one man, majority of Nigerians have selfish mentality and that is why we are were we are today. Instead of building/giving, we steal/destroy from the system. Why can't the Senator work on the constitution to make change.... Why is every blame going to Buhari? 1 Like |

Seetto: Based on what u have obasanjo seems 2b d unluckiest president since 99 because he inherited a foreign reserve of $5b, crude oil price of $17 per barrel. Yet he was able pay off Paris club. No complains. No excuses. No blame games |

lexy2014:Guy go do your research properly, obj didn't pay off any debt. It was written off. What was the govt expenditure as at 99 compared to now, mind u population has increased. Under obj security spending was low as compared to now. There is now more opposition to govt unlike during obj, he almost had his way on every issue, except his 3rd term agenda of course. Note! I'm not exonerating pmb |
Re: Kemi Badenoch Explains How "Irresponsible" Nigerian Government Is by lexy2014: 11:45am On Aug 15, 2019 |
Yusman316: U aren't exonerating pmb but u say "There is now more opposition to govt unlike during obj". What has this got 2do with d discussion? Is this d best u could come up with? Apart from d issue of BH, pls kindly enumerate Nigeria's needs in d areas of education, health, agriculture, infrastructure etc and how that negates d claims i made. Pls also factor in d activities of Niger delta militants. As for research, pls avail urself this link. It will b helpful. https://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/22/world/22nigeria.html&hl=en-NG |

lexy2014:U said obj should be the unluckiest president. That's why I brought up the opposition issue. He had things his way. People re now more aware of how governance works in the country, hence the uproar about things not working. As at 99 many Nigerians just didn't care about what the govt does or say. So how do u measure such govt's performance |
Re: Kemi Badenoch Explains How "Irresponsible" Nigerian Government Is by lexy2014: 2:37pm On Aug 15, 2019 |
Yusman316: When I said "unluckiest president", what did I mean? Even if u brought up d issue of opposition, how does it correlate with d point I made about obj being d unluckiest president? Who told u people didn't care about governance as at 99 compared to now? How did u come to that conclusion? If things are working, will there b uproar? I challenged u to provide certain info to support ur claims that I was wrong in my comments. U have chosen to deviate to another discussion. U don't no how to measure a govts performance and u want to get into a debate on govts performance? |
