It's not that easy. Certain criteria need to be met. You need to get a job that is in the field that you studied while there and it has to pay up to a certain amount. We're talking about 25k pounds upwards. You can't go there to study Accounting and remain there working uber or in a supermarket.

Not entirely, They can work Only but not entitled to Any other benefits, UK citizens also have to pay for some medical treatments when residence in EU countries, And anyway there are no jobs in the EU countries hence they want to come to the UK.

Remember within that 2 years you would have to pay rent, buy food and other expensis and as the individual you quoted have said, the jobs are not guaranteed, You could still be Jobless in the first 8 months.


Other European countries, US or canada could still deny you visa.

The secret in the UK is to know what you are doing as an International Student. You can attend your lectures and do some very good business runs in your free time. You might not even need to look for work while studying. That 20 hours per week work hours given to you will not be enough to take care of your day to day expenses. Become self employed and go into Residential Cleaning business. No one can limit you when you do the so called 'Dirty Jobs'. I won't say more than this. With the money you make, you can process your Canadian PR or Australian PR ETC. You can even save enough to start a cottage industry back in Nigeria, if you know what you are doing. I am not talking about Post Study work. I am talking about earning money during the 12 to 15 Months of your Master's Degree Program. Peace.

Look here, Naija guy . Forget about the 10 or 20 hours job rights they give you with your study Visa. The money you will earn from working 10 or 20 hours weekly cannot help you live comfortably once you land in the UK. Attend your lectures. Take your lectures seriously and don't run foul of the regulations concerning your Visa. But please become Self Employed. Once you have your Bank Account, you are good to go. Focus on the dirty jobs like Cleaning especially. People don't like to clean in the UK as it can be painstaking and hard work. Look for your own clients and start cleaning their homes or offices. Nobody looks at a Cleaner twice or bothers Cleaners. They often see you as a unfortunate person or Asylum Seeker or Refugee trying to make a living for themselves. If you are in your 20's, late 20's or early 30's, follow my advice. Join Cleaning Agencies or advertise on classified websites for your clients. You will make very good money,I tell you. Just keep to yourself and don't disclose earnings to friends or classmates. Read about how to set up a Home Cleaning business via google. You can also sell stuff on ebay at the same time.
