Firstly, the records in Mr President's files with the Military shows he joined the army with his Secondary School certificate, there is also a recommendation from the school principal (at that time) to the army, classmates of his testified that they sat for the exams together and also he got an attestation from WAEC. The President had earlier sworn to an affidavit to the effect that he lost all his credentials (including of Military courses attended) when soldiers raided his home in 1985 during the coup.

Thats what happens when you allow sentiment to becloud your judgement. If he'd sought a legal advise, I believe he would have known by now that even without a WAEC certificate Buhari is very eminently qualified to run for that position. The ugly truth!

PMB is a disappointment i was expecting a Tyrant that'll Deal with those politicians but he can't because without those corrupt men he wouldn't be president. One of the reasons I still dislike GEJ because he was the best person to change this country because he didn't get Power directly so no fear of Godfather but he messed up drained the country deceiving us that Nigeria is the Biggest Economy in Africa with just mere words no plans. No mind am. The judgment pretty much says any reference you have to holding a degree is valid. They argued that since he filled his army dorm that he had one, then he does. Not sure the precedence challenges this implies. Would job applicants claim to have a certificate by just referencing a document like an affidavit?
