The consistent comparison with ministers is annoying. You have a different responsibility from ministers so you need to stop this comparison and two wrongs don't make a right. This is where the bulk of the our budget goes every year hence nothing left for capital projects, yet they want to increase VAT to pay for these sort of things.

Just by saying it's unfair bla bla bla are you not feeling ashamed of yourself for saying that, do you senate president consider where the money is coming from? How those money was? made and the effect on people's lives who believed you are there to represent them and make laws that would cater for their well being and indirectly yours, don't you have a car or cars already, your salaries alone is more than enough to get u what you want in life

that is y it is very important for the government to make the legislative arm of government unattractive so that anybody vying for a post at the legis.. would be more effective and concerned about working with the gvt and the people for their betterment rather than being more concerned about lavishing public fund

place them on salaries that is not more than 5 million or less, an official car that would be changed by the government when due and those cars are not meant to be a souvenir when they are living office

bunch of money mongers

if it's an insult leave and let people who are ready to do the job for less occupy that seat ole

Very simple sturvs, if the load is too much that they cannot do it without using 48million vehicles, resign. Let's try people who can do the work with 3million naira vehicle.

I’m guessing it’s the weight of a dangote truck you’re carrying stupid thing....some secondary school students are more intelligent and smarter than most of these senators especially the northerners among them who should not be more than mere local govt councillors at best cos that’s their level of competence!

With all the exotic cars y'all own, you have some specially set aside for different occasions/events, you have your favourites and the ones you'll soon put on auction at the end of the year... Yet you're still looking for SUV jeep ontop.

It's thunder that will fire you people sitting on irrelevant properties in this country.

5.5bn for how many people, just to buy ride? These are people who already have mansions and cars and jeeps everywhere. yet they cannot sacrifice one for the country and the massive responsibilities they claim to have at hand?

Ordinary 5.5bn naira for 109 senators to buy cars and the masses are crying. They should be made to pay much more for their foolishness in voting incompetent buffoons into offices meant for respectable and serious minded people. Next time it will be private jets, not just SUVs!
Thank You

Is it not an insult if the NASS keep buying cars every 4 years? What happened to the ones used by the 8th assembly?
The jeeps that were bought at 25m back for the 8th Senate was sold at a little over 1million to the members of the 8th senate that were not returned and the 9th senate will still buy another one worth 30m each for these senators despite having over 60% of them as returning senators.

These mother fvckers don't freaking have a clue huh? Nigerian Federal legislators are the highest paid in the world in a country where most citizens find it very difficult to eat 2 nutritious meals in a day. Do these people have no shame? How tone deaf can one be to act with impunity the way these fen sucked, dizzy eyed, clay brained FOOLs are acting? I mean, if average Nigerians don't see that these fustilarians are an affront to the survival and progress of Nigeria, I do not know what else would. Nigerians better wake to this madness and take their destinies in their own hands before the future of their children are forever foreclosed by these beetle headed so called legislators.

Why are they always comparing themselves to ministers?

So, when they pay back the money, where exactly does it go?

We really need to unite against these politicians. They are taking us all for a fool
are nigerians not fools?
don't get emotional, take time to think about our choice of leaders starting from the first republic when we chose grade 2 teacher from bauchi in the person of tafawa balewa over Dr Zik and Chief Awolowo?
then in the 2nd republic,we chose another teacher from katsina shagari over Chief Awolowo who had a track record in the development of the western region, whom the British stated that him chief Awolowo is capable of ruling the British at that time?
in 1999 we had the opportunity of having true democrats in the persons of Dr Alex Ekwueme and Chief Olu falae, but as usual we would prefer a repented DICTATOR in the person of obasanjo and as a result of our choice we were blessed with Odi massacre and Zaki biam massacres.
then in recent times,we chose a repented DICTATOR in the person of buhari over a gentleman and a true democrat and wrong are blessed with Herdsmen, state support for boko haram, fulanisation and gross show of contempt to our constitution and law.
Are the politicians not right to take us for fools?
we are really fools and there is no one to tell us.
our foolishness benefits the developed nations anyway.
at least they benefits from the brain drain and drain of resources through extractive industries

When you elect broke people into office, this is what you get. Buy your own cars before you enter office, instead of using our taxes to fund vehicles you could only ever dream of in the past. Common SUV is what they're moaning about??

How u can support any party still baffles me till now. do u realise that these senators, both apc and pdp, sit down and decide collectively to implement this rubbish? if truly apc is for change should some of these things no be abolished? not to talk of pdp who ran this county aground in 16 years.

he has not even started...little by little his eyes will open.
will realise that until the common man feels change, until security, food, health and other little basics are guaranteed then it's all a scam. they will come out with bogus figures of how the economy is improving, they will tell us the foreign investments coming in and how foreign policies are adapted and are improving the citizens lives yet we are not feeling anything...it's sickening

This is a ploy by the cabal to divert our attention from the way the vice president has been sidelined and belittled by his principal.

The Senate Leader will, by tomorrow, come out to say he was quoted out of context, this was not what he meant, bla bla.

There was a country called Nigeria....

I read animal farm.
at a point squealed was explaining to the other animals why the milk is supposed to be the exclusive diet of the pigs who happened to be the political class.
squealer explained that the pigs are doing lots of brain work and therefore they need the milk so that they would do their work very well in order not to allow Mr Jones(pdp ) to come back.
or do you want Mr Jones to come back?surely my comrades and friends I know you do not want Mr Jones(pdp)to come back.
I was thinking why George orwell used pigs to represent the politicians and dogs to represent the military until I realised that George orwell was right for politicians just as pigs are dirty in character and insatiable in appetite,as for dogs, the military, they attack on the order of the one who feeds them and to whom they have sworn allegiance.
Moses the raven is the religious class always preaching of heaven where everything is alright to calm the other animals down.
