Please anyone dealing with "Dr. Ayogu" in this forum shd be very careful. He claims to work with JAMB and sells fingerprint scanners for 11k. I guess he is trying to cash into the confusion on these scanning stuff to dupe unsuspecting persons. Be warned.

This is a strategy to reduce people that'll gain admission next year. It is intentional and unfair.

I have been using DigitaPersona 4500 and initially it gave the low resolution problem. But after a few attempts, itstarted working well. So u might want to try a few more times. I'v not tried the Secure Hampster tho. If the problem persists, make sure you have the latest java update installed. If you'v tried that too and it does not work, try using the scanner on a Win Xp system (32bit). IF THE PROBLEM persists, you might want to consider getting a digitalPersona. Feel free to call me if you need more assistance, or if you need the digitalPersona scanner.

Its really unfair, sometimes i ask myself if our policy makers do analysis things before taken their decision.Indirectly they are tell nigerians that only few persons are required for this exam.otherwise were in the world will someone scan is finger before registering for an exam.They should focus on improving the exam and not finger print scanning.

UTME portal down this morning. I guess its under maintenance. Very slow and difficult to access. Hope they are resolving the scanning criteria to be less strict.
