Some of you fail to understand that, bbn and inec election has to do with perceptions. Those that voted in bb naija believe that, their votes counts and they believe in the transparency of the system while inec is on the contrary.

The process of voting in BBN was very easy to do. Election criterias are kind of harsh, added with the fear of violence erupting anytime.
This is a clear sign that if we move into e-voting for elections, there would be zero fear of violence. There's no need to travel down to your village as long as you have your PVC, enter the codes and details and vote. As soon as you vote, you see who is winning so far. This way, we save billions of naira printing ballot paper and other logistics..... A perfect example is how twitter online poll works.

Reason why our leaders still want the manual way is simply to buy the people's vote. Nobody will know when you voted online

2. Not only Nigerians voted. So many people from other African countries and even Africans in the diaspora voted.

3. There was an online voting option in which all voters were entitled to 100 votes. These votes didn't cost 30 naira.

There are free voting platforms. The #30 SMS, the network providers have their own cut,. Nobody does business without profit in mind, they made profit yes, but not upto that amount

First, you guys should not missread what is written. Its 240 millions votes not 240 million people votes. Again I not so sure but i think its 100 votes per sim card. So you look at it. It should be around a minimum of 24 million votes.

My observation is. With our level of technological advancement there was no way you could maneuver the process. It was just sim card. Why don't we adopt the same ideas in our electoral processes. Notwithstanding, out elites know the right thing to but have chosen to be oblivious of it.
