They just made the job easier.
Atiku can never ever and ever be Nigeria's president even if its bn sold at oshodi market. He is nothing but a political prostitute,a huge liability.what explanation has he got for the source of his wealth? He's got  a pathetic sense of judgement,no principle, integrity or regard for public opinion. This he-goat is shameless.

jonathan on his part appears like a ''Money miss road''.He has got no clue of wot to do.Even his ministers are as hopeless as their boss.

Buhari carry go!!!

This just made things easier for GEJ and the opposition in particular.

Atiku will fall flat on his face.

Interesting all they did was quell the incessant duel of Buhari and IBB for the soul of the Northwest. But from the look of things. This is how the primaries will go Atiku and Jonathan will share the North while Bobo Jonathan takes the rest. As for me i call it a landslide victory for camp Jona. They think they can use Atiku to quell Obasanjo antics guess they have forgotten that obasanjo and T.Y Danjuma oh! i even forgot the venerable Anenih is a functional part of camp Jona. I pity their votes. now let's see where the legendary power of the Yar Adua political machine really lies. One thing is clear Atiku will lose the primaries starting from his own state. So wetin go happen to The campaign fund of IBB now. bet there will be a silent deal between IBB and whoever.

This Ciroma group and their sinister motives. What if Atiku looses primaries, would they go to another party say ANPP?

Am from Kwara and this is a victory against the saraki dynasty at-least, now Bukola can quit his ridiculous presidential ambition, now that they losing influences little by little even from the northerners they were selling themselves to, maybe they can retrace their roots and soberly align us back to the south-west where we originally belong. Foolish sold-out backward family. We'll flush your fam outta dis State soon, Awon oloshi gbo gbo!!!,

Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by Mesef1: 6:49pm On Nov 22, 2010
Well, this sounds interesting.

GEJ might not have it easy with Atiku because the latter has some disguised loyalists among the Governors in the South. Don't be decieved that some Governors in the south could sell out at the eleventh hour. If all other aspirants from the north work for Atiku (very unlikely though) and the North is able to come out in one front, then GEJ should forget it.

In another possibility, GEJ could count on the love lost between the middle-beltans and the core north and get a majority of votes at the primaries if he is able to hold on firm to the south bloc. But the guy should forget those core northern Governors like Sule Lamido, Wammako and all. They will likely go with the "interest of the north". Then I have always believed that Ribadu was positioned in ACN as a last resort by OBJ/GEJ group. If the North deals with Jonathan's ambition, he will switch support to Ribadu and break up PDP for good.

In all, the time is still there for anything to change. The game has just started and some interesting days lie ahead.
Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by Donmeca(m): 6:49pm On Nov 22, 2010
Northern PDP is ill prepared for 2011 elections. The nature, principle and integrity of their four pawns left them with no choice than to take a lesser evil. The PDP ticket goes to Jonathan after all, Atiku can't win. . .he will be floored by GEJ.

Jimmy Boy:

Please make no mistakes, there are hundreds of politicians that are worse than IBB out there. Even if IBB drops dead  today, it does not mean there will be 24 hour electricity withinh the next 24 months.

We know! we also know that d hundreds of them are not in the race to become president of Nigeria or let alone the northern PDP consensus candidate. As for your last sentence, I wud say; LET HIM DROP DEAD FIRST!

Re: Atiku "Selected" As Northern Consensus Candidate by Laajman(m): 6:57pm On Nov 22, 2010
Interestingly, if the North completely backs Atiku, it'd be a landslide at the PDP primaries, and at the elections too.
They simply have more votes and more states.

Its surprisingly, how GEJ has failed to win the incumbent Governors over. That's the key!

This announcement is victory for Jonathan Goodluck. He should be the only person smiling.

That is if the Jonathan/Sambo camp know how to play politics.

No threat. I'm no Jonathan fan. It is easy to see how groups already on the margin will want to capitalise if Jonathan is denied.
