Africans have a strong belief in tradition and folklore, during the ancient times before colonialism,Africa pays a huge obeisance to its existing traditional institutions, but after the colonial masters left ,everything about the tradition was a shadow of it former self.....
Nigeria as a case study, in the western part, particularly, the yorubas have a lot of dos and don't, but with the advent of religioun, our beliefs started fading away giving room for the whites religion, we've neglected tradition like a plague, whereas, some still believe in superstition, superstition has to do A belief, not based on human reason or scientific knowledge, that future events may be influenced by one's behaviour in some magical or mystical way.. You as a person, do you believe in superstition??
