Krissy01: I would advise this; 1. You start looking for scholarships within and outside Netherlands that are less competitive and you think you are qualified. 2. Try to do research online and from past student already in Netherlands and get contacts of humanitarian/ immigrantion agencies or groups that can come in and offer some kind of assistance or solution. Am sure they've helped others in the past. Or even group funding. If possible plead u case on social media and ask for funding. 3. Try to apply for other visa categories like work visa, au pair etc that are easier to get even if it's within Europe 4. Apply to Germany uni's and co. U may still be able to do interview, u may be lucky. 5, meet with an immigration expert/ consultant and try to Know ur options. If u don't have money to pay, look for pro bono ones. |

I really feel for you. Sorry to hear this. I suggest you table your matter on twitter and ask for funding, by God's grace something good comes out of it. All the best. Krissy01: |

Krissy01: I am sorry for being cynical, but what made you opt for a bachelor program in one of Western most expensive countries (both living costs and foreign students' tuition fees)? Why bachelor's which is four years at least, and not a master's? I, Ednut and Tensa20 have written countless times in this section that bachelor programs should not be pursued unless your parents are VERY WEALTHY to run the entire process for four years regardless of exchange rates and whatnot. You are an undergraduate student, so it is unthinkable for you to imagine paying tuition fees or catering for living expenses from your part-time jobs or depending on a certain exchange rate to be able to afford tuition fees and living expenses. Also, I am curious, since your program is marketing, is the course in English or Dutch? If the former, do/can you speak Dutch regardless? According to the system, you are already illegal (you stated this), so I no know wetin else to comment. But next time, and for naive readers, do BSc/BA in Nigeria before going abroad to study. There are good schools in Nigeria. As e bad reach, na from public universities most people wey study abroad graduate from. Na from public university a Nigerian who just got employed as an assistant professor at Cornell graduate from. Na even public universities those who did their BSc at private universities run their MSc before going abroad for their PhD. |

MrAAA2: That works for postgraduate studies, not undergraduate. How much she wan earn to cover living expenses and tuition fees? This issue of exchange rate na why many young Japanese students no fit run their undergraduate studies outside the country. E get one woman wey dey work three jobs (I didn't ask of her husband) to sponsor her child at Western University in Canada. The exchange rate can be suicidal. 2 Likes |

Krissy01: You could have moved to Germany when you had the opportunity. Germany is tuition free, and it will never be this worse, I have a friend who left Netherlands for Germany. Can you talk to immigration lawyer in Netherlands, there’s always a way to overturn this stuffs. |

Tsesi: If your permit is still valid just apply to a language school in Germany. Apply to astas bochum u will pay 337 euro for them to issue the main letter for embassy this will happen under 1 week(next class is in may tell the m u want to study A1-C1) or studienkellog bochum( no down payment (Google it) get Verpflichtungserklärung(appeal to people here u can get helped. A lot of people here are already stable in Germany, you can enter the train and come to German loiter around you will get lots of help for SL, it depends on your grace.)from someone in Germany. apply at the embassy in Netherlands while they are processing your application you move to German and start your classes. When you are proficient write exam for B1or B2 and start ausbildung. I know someone that it worked for from Italy. If you don't have enough time do anything possible with immigration show them any information from your sponsor to buy time for like 8weeks then you will be good. If all the above is not an option move to Germany and seek asylum. Tell them ur sponsor is kaput and the people who kaput him are after u, so u don't wnt to be kaput. 😁 While you are been processed you will start working and earn a living many options if you have a child or get married to anyone that is valid in the system u are able to stay back automatically. Germany needs lots of people they are desperate now |

I just read again that you are no longer valid in the system no issues come to Germany and seek asylum you will be 200% better they will pay for everything for u education and living cost, if you get to Germany dm me I will show u heads up come to Essen I can take you to bochum reception center to register, people who enjoy the integration process are asylum seekers the system carefor them a whole lot. if you are in venlo is not so far. quote author=Radianceprince post=128824383] If your permit is still valid just apply to a language school in Germany.
