You can meet up provided you have booked your appointment immediately you got the admission. Better yet if you are yet to get a date I strongly advise you email the embassy attaching yout admission letter and point out the important dates as outlined above.

❤️💡

Please can i get the embassy email so that i can mail them too, Category B, since November 2022.....

Why not enroll and then send them your enrollment letter and proof of payment? PhD should be category A. Your spouse have to provide a blocked account too. She can join as dependent or with a family reunion visa. I assume your PhD is a paid position on some certain percentage? If not, then blocked account applies to you too.

harkynon:
Its about 12k euro per adult. You would be able to read more on fintiba.com or xpatrio.com.
The payment can be transferred from Nigeria bank into the German banks

I appreciate you guys for your responses. I will need your clarification on this:

On the appointment booking site, I found this message "Current waiting period: You have to wait for an appointment approximately 4 weeks". Does it mean I will only be able to select from or see available dates for appointments 4 weeks after submitting for a booking reference or 4 weeks before the filled starting date of study on the booking reference form?

@Harkynon @Hannania and anyone else on ground with an idea..
Could you kindly advise which is the more ideal accommodation arrangement to get in the Frankfurt Oder or Slubice region and how to reserve such accommodation, especially as proof of accommodation for visa application?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by harkynon(m): 10:07pm On Oct 01
As far as i know, you do not require a proof of accommodation to secure study visa in Nigeria. However, if you are asking for accommodation sake, ensure you see the accommodation before making any deposit. Dont fall victim of online or facebook scammers

Boss any update how is the process going
I'm forever sorry for responding late.

I just logged into Nairaland since months.

I've completed A1 but I had people around who started fighting with me and saw that they frustrated my entire life during the A1 phase.

I truly suffered untold attacks from these people in all times of mental, emotional and physical issues that I had to pause ⏸ going into A2.

I was practically just working and spending my money on things that never enriched or gave my life any meaningful growth, but I'm planning on continuing before the year's end and I hope to at least get to B1 level before my May next year.

Thank you so much.

But they did not ask anything about Secondary school at all, not during my application to school nor the embassy.

So I did not mention WAEC or anything on secondary school at all, not in the forms, CV nor motivation letter.
sir please any update?

You can upload without notarization. However, you must send notarized ones to uniassit with post

Hello, please where can I notarize my documents in Lagos?

I don't intend doing it at the Lagos Consulate, and if possible, how much?

Note: it's open for anyone with useful information to help out.

Do a Google search for notaries public around you

Go to ikeja general hospital. Opposite the entrance gate is a filling station. Lots of them there available to do it for you. You could call this number. But bargain well (especially in bulk) because they always want to charge you as if you earn in USD or euro. So be wise. Her name is Rebecca 0806 218 9610

The waiting period to get an appointment date is around 4 weeks but I got mine the next day after I applied. You should have gotten yours by now

Hey bro,

Can you shed more light on this waiting period? Alot of applicants are here waiting for more than 1 year now. Are you in category A or B? Kindly share with us. I am personally confused.

Thanks

You're highly appreciated. I got the mail of the schedule on Friday.

Moreso, do you mind sharing the experience at their Lagos Embassy as I had the experience of the Abuja last year?

It means you have not registered for health insurance such as TK, AOK etc. Once you register for health insurance, your insurance provider will send an electronic notification to your school stating that you have registered for health insurance
