Grema Mohammed has set a record as the first referee from Borno State to be honoured with the FIFA Badge. Grema who was promoted to Grade 1 in 2015 was among the selected referees across the country honoured with the prestigious FIFA batch in a ceremony held in Kano State yesterday. This is indeed a milestone for the young referee coming from a region that has been battling insurgency since 2009.
