Agriculture indeed!....The greatest sin is knowing the the right thing to do and not doing it. You want me to invest in Agriculture ,while herdsmen will destroy my investments like a flash? You can actually secure the whole country if you want, but you refused. Now some people woke up and planned to secure their land for true and real prosperity, you indirectly kicked against it. Nobody lives forever, and every deception has an expiry date. 3 Likes 1 Share |

No. It is the strangulation and killing of local investments that is denying youth employment opportunities. If you had think through your unpolicies before introducing uncertainty into the economy, local and foreign investors would have been thriving. But your illiterate zombie followers were quick to call any investor, local or foreign thieves, looters and corrupt whenever they complain about the business environment. They claim you are the messiah can singlehandedly revive the economy and that we don't even need foreign investors. 2 Likes |

When a man publicly declares that her daughters are prostitutes, how do you expect them to get married? This man was busy screaming in the media that we’re corrupt, he refused to obey court orders, uses the EFCC as a revenge tool & has the judiciary in his pockets. How in the world does he expect foreign investors to come in? They have failed as predicted cos they haven’t got any direction. 1 Like |

What had that got to do with corruption that is ravaging tbe country? What has that got to do with ethnicity, racism and greed for power? What happened to electricity after 60 years of independence? What happened to clean water and good healthcare? What about road infrastructure after 60 years of independence? All the allocations over the years, where is the proof? Foreign exchange jumped from 225/$ to $504 in two months and finally berthed at $360. Fuel skyrocketted, rice and other basic needs. Nothing changed and now VAT increased to 7.5. Who is deceiving who? What you know, we know. They are only favoured to be up there. All foreign investments looted and wasted. Why are their children not hampered by the same direct foreign investment? Daughter flew to Bauchi on a presidential jet, funded by tax payers only to go and take photographs of ancient places. This joke has gone too far please. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

The way we ourselves talk about nigeria is frightening. Why would foreigners wanna come? Things people didn't see or witness them go talk. Then you come to NL and you see men threatening to burn folk alive and rape women. Not only are you doing yoursemf you are doibg your country people both in nigeria and diaspora. Im not saying don't tell the truth. But don't make extra stuff up and threaten violence online. Ive been in a case where googled issuea were tried to use against me while at the same time they declined to speak with Nigerians. Insane 1 Like |

Well, las las na to blame Dame Pat, GEJ and Wike. After almost five years in power. 50% of youth are women. But they belong in the other room. Lazy female youth in the other room. Not a good selling point for any nation. Then no security, no light and no respect for the law. Only gamblers will invest in such a place. 2 Likes |

You can expect foreign investment in a nation with security concerns and disorganised security outfits because the foreign investours think of their safety and protection first and also that of their investment. 1 Like |

Even with foreign investment, the jobs will be given to expatriates. Even our own local jobs and contracts are awarded to foreign nationals not to talk of that by foreign investors. We don't even know even local content policy requirements is still in force. |

How can we attract foriegn investment when our border has been closed , How can we afford foreign investment when the government owns almost 70% of business here The rest are held by greedy businessmen How can we afford investment when there is insecurity , How can we afford foreign investment when we have limited sea ports and Airports How can we afford foreign investment when our Nigerian rich brothers can't even invest in this shithole . Foreign investment will not develop the country capital is not the basis for industrialization Study how hitler brought Germany out of depression, recession and unemployment after world war 1, before going to conquer Europe between 1939 - 1945. Or how countries in Europe which fought WWII that drained their economy massively recuperated after the war. And here we are as a country still depending on foreign investment to develop the country. The foreign investment might help build good roads, airports and some infrastructure but these alone cannot sustain the country because all these infrastructure depreciate over time and is not the solution to unemployment or the problem of Nigeria. We need policies to enable the rapid development of the country. 2 Likes |
