JIME Vs ORTOM.

The supreme court has affirmed the election of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state .In their unanimous judgement ,the court dismissed the appeal for totally lacking in merit, availing that ,the appellant has failed to prove the case of none compliance against the respondent.

They upheld the ruling of the tribunal.

The seven man panel of Justices that sat on the case are ;

The supreme court has upheld the election of Samuel Ortom as the governor of Benue state.

Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, who led a seven-man panel, dismissed the appeal of Emmanuel Jime, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the March gubernatorial election, for lacking in merit.

Jime had challenged Ortom’s reelection on the grounds of substantial noncompliance with the provisions of Electoral Act, 2010 as amended.

Nothing to see here, the key aim was to distract the South East from Amotekun by giving victory to Number 4 in the Imo election, they expected the SW to support the judgement and create a divide between Igbos and Yorubas but it is failing to succeed.

PDP protest yielding desired results. Ihedioha was to test the water. Tanko and his groups can not afford another upheaval.
PDP would have protested before now. When Mbaka gave that prophesy would have been the right time to protest. Mbaka was privy to the ruling. They would have taken immediate action. Unfortunately, Ihedioha who won his election had to lose.

He stood firmly on The Benue State Anti- Grazing Law and against the Clannish President Buhari whose folks The Fulani were killing Benue indigenes left at the mercy of feeble protection from Abuja controlled police force.
