i'm talking of the programmer who thinks of an idea ,programs it and goes around trying to sell his product.
His idea has to rake in the money if he has no side job . And the income
should be as good (maybe in the long run) as if he were working in
somebody else's company.

If the software meets a NEED in the market, it will sell. If it doesn't meet a need, it will just be another LUXURY item. Many Nigerians cannot afford luxuries. Program for NECESSITIES or else do it for fun and give the software out FREE.
