Do You Believe In The trinity - Why Yes, Why No? by Sukersoc: 7:46am On Feb 09, 2020
I have found the doctrine of the trinity very confusing and I'm not alone it seems. Many proponents and opponents alike appear to be equally confused about the doctrine itself.

Proponents will often say, God is a mystery as a way out of the Trinity debate. By the way, majority of Christianity are believers in the trinity of God.

The Bible it seems though, overwhelming teaches that there is only one true God the Father, and that the Father is greater than the Son. There are offcourse a few scriptures which appear to lend credence to the Trinity.

Thus I wonder, Why is the majority of Christainity insistent on a doctrine that is so clearly debatable and difficult to prove even from the Bible?

Can you tell us if you believe in the Trinity, why, and if not, why not?

IF GOD IS OMNI-POTENT AND OMNI-SCIENT, THEN GOD IS OMNI-CAPABLE AND OMNI-MULTIPLE WHICH IS BEYOND JUST THREE COMPLEXES. STOP QUARRELING WITH TRINITY. GOD HAS PASSED TRINITY. GOD IS GOD. GOD IS THE SUPREME SPIRIT GOD IS EVERY SPIRIT AND GOD IS YOU AND I AND EVERY LIVING THING ON THIS PLANET EARTH.

It's confusing because it is not biblical or logical. Its a left over of pagan doctrines that some Christians are scared to let go. Its no wonder because the Roman catholics who fully developed the strange doctrine threatened and ostracised those that rejected it. The devil through his ministers craftily imposed it on the church and made it an essential doctrine.

Many are scared that the moment they reject the trinity, they would in turn reject the deity of Christ so the blindly accept it even when there is no such thing like that in the bible.

There is just one God, the Father as the bible rightly proclaim and this same God became like man(Son of God), His creature to bring us into His glory and to partake of it. So Jesus is God in bodily form that came to reconcile us unto Himself.

There is no mystery of 3 persons in one God, the mystery is God coming in the likeness of man 1 Timothy 3:16

The nature of God is clear, God is one being and one Lord as established by the Fathers of old, the prophets, the law, Jesus Himself and the apostles. No room for persons in the godhead, they trinity is imagined or assumed to be in scriptures where it is not. It is being read into the bible like other false doctrines. Even the devil knows there is just one God.

Here are the words of Jesus Himself when asked by the Jews which commandment was the greatest. This would have been the best time to explain about the trinity if it was true but what did He do? He strongly refuted any notion that contradicts God as one and affirmed with the bible that God is one

''And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord'' Mark 12:29

One Lord! Amen. He would have said ''one Lords'' like one essence three distinct persons like the trinitarians but He said One Lord!

The jews of today know God is One person or being. If they were in error about this God would have corrected them long ago because God is a jealous God. But they believed exactly how God wanted them to believe. Which is His oneness

This is another whole topic on its own that requires enough attention though

The trinity doctrine is not a confusing one. It is embedded in several parts of the scriptures including the gospels. Those who find it confusing usually aren’t students of the Bible and their teachers likewise.

Firstly, let’s look at the vision of the first Chapter of Ezekiel:
1. There are four living creatures.
2. Each one had four faces.
3. Each had four wings.
4. They were joined together by the wings.
5. They moved as one.

As for the resemblance of their faces, the description is as follows:
1. One face like that of a man.
2. One face like that of a lion.
3. One face like that of an ox.
4. One face like that of an eagle.

The same description is given in Revelation 4. (“Man” representing intelligence; “Lion” representing royalty or the strength of a King; “Ox” representing a burden bearer; “Eagle” representing deity. The four gospels which give story of one man in several views is arranged in this manner: Matthew, the Gospel of the King; Mark, the Gospel of the Son of Man; Luke, the Gospel of the Suffering Servant (burden bearer); John, the Gospel of God or the Son of God. These four called the synoptic gospels give different faces of one theme.)

Away from the parenthesis, Ezekiel saw these:
1. The four creatures were independent; but moved as one using the face of the one that faced the Spirit.
2. He saw a Wheel.
3. He referred to it as Wheels.
4. He saw the mechanism behind the Wheels.

Why did he refer to multiple wheels as “Wheel”? He seems to describe the mechanism of the Wheels to be similar to that of the four living creatures - they moved as one - independent but not mutually exclusive. Mechanically, a mechanism is given one name e.g. a clock. But a clock is nothing without its wheels and pinions; A ratchet wheel is nothing without a main wheel. A clock maker or a specialist in repairing tires, brakes, rims and flywheels will understand Ezekiel’s vision- several parts moving as one is given only one name.

So how many parts move as one? The Old Testament showed: it is three. Abraham sees three men, he bows to them as one saying, “My Lord” (not Lords). Let’s look at the altercation between Jesus and the Jews (who knew Jehovah was plural in essence): In John 10 Jesus says, “I and My Father are one. This He said plainly to define His claim as Son of God - One of the Godhead - who moves when the Father moves (John 5:19).

The Salutation of the first chapter of Revelations shows something outstanding. The letters to the Churches in Asia Minor are from three authorities (equal in rank) bearing the same title (when you break down their epithet):

1. The eternal one (who was, who is and who is to come)- used mostly to describe the Father.
2. The Seven Spirits - The Pluralis Majestatis of the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus Christ.

Three signatures, and one title.

I could make it longer but I think this should be enough for now. The Trinity isn’t complicated: it is best described as Three-as-one. It is just the aversion of people to read in this present time that gives the headache.

It is clear in the bible that God is a trinue person meaning he has three distinct personalities which mean he is actually the Father, The Son and the Holy spirit but these three personality are separate, co-operate, communicate or interact with each other.
Take note many believe Jesus is the same as the Father, The Son and The holy Spirit. This is an heresy, Jesus was not the Father in heaven who later became the Son on earth and transformed into the holy Spirit after his resurrection. Jesus was with the Father in heaven as a Son, the Holy Spirit was also in heaven, that is why Jesus said he will pray the Father to send the comforter, Jesus referred to his Father as truly God who is in heaven and who he will meet after he has complete his mission. The father Spoke from heaven and the disciples heard his voice, Jesus spoke of the Holy Ghost as a real person who will witness for him, the Holy Spirit also spoke in the book of acts.
Jesus said the Father bear witness of him and the Holy Spirit will also bear witness for him when he comes.
According to the scripture, the witness of only one person is not valid and hence cannot be accepted as truth.
Jesus said the scriptures cannot be broken not even God himself would do such a thing or else he becomes a liar which is impossible which means that for Jesus witness to be true there must be another who will also witness for Jesus and this persons are the Father and the Spirit people who deny the trinity end up making God a liar.
John 8:16-18 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

@ bolded Jesus himself said the Father and himself are different persons denying this, means making Jesus a liar and his testimony false.

John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
