This man just dey spam anyhow. . . In all your wisdom you have highlighted the writer's opinion instead of what Wenger actually said. You deserve a cookie! |

dayokanu: the less said about duduspace, the better for the good of this forum. i still remember lecturing him about roman's vast wealth on the chelsea thread that roman is utterly minted. now that it's clear to him that the purported vision 20/20 sold to him by frank arnesen and peter kenyon is a myth, the shackles are now completely off and he will spend again like he did in the mid-2000s. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by duduspace(m): 7:43pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
I wonder why some people don't read beyond sensational headlines and writer's opinions. If Wenger is asked about Financial fair play and chelsea's spending what do you expect him to say? That they did well and are the model for sustainability? with a 70m loss after a double winning year and another 70m expenditure after that with no visible increase in turnover? If you go and ask people within the chelsea hierarchy sef they would be stupid to pat their own backs. Lets wait and see the outcome of the expenditure first, na Abramovic get him money and they've been able to convince him to splurge again, lets see how much he gets back or how much he'll be writing off again in the coming years. |

Err. This is the Manchester united fans thread, Important news. Gary Neville has retired effective immediately. Fantastic news, shame he soiled the latter part of his career with some awful performances. He was a fantastic rightback for well over a decade for club and country and he hated the scousers. Much respect to him. |

duduspace: you are a football novice and i don't need your welcome package. stuff it up your rectum. Mr_TA: gary is a legend. all oldies have soiled the latter part of their career with shitty performances here and there. players who are supposed to be in their peak have also played some rubbish games. neville's last few games cannot stain his legendary status. he's won more premier league titles than all the other 19 clubs put together. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 7:54pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
Totally agree, he was also under appreciated. Hope England are enjoying Glen Johnson's displays at RB. Legend. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 8:03pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
Mr_TA: all united players are under-rated. the most under-rated player in europe is luis nani. ask any sports journo, they will tell you paraplegics like bale, nasri, arshavin and joe cole are all better than nani. roll out the contribution each player has made this season and you will be shocked nani's goal assists is twice (bale + nasri + malouda) combined. |

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by HNIC(m): 8:49pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
The Neviller retires Like the saying goes 'If you don't leave football, football will leave you' He should have retired 3 years ago! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 8:59pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
HNIC: last season, he supplied a tasty cross to assist a rooney header against ac milan. if neville should have retired 3 yrs ago then wenger should have retired 6 yrs ago(the last time he won a trophy). |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by debosky(m): 9:01pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
^^ So because of one cross he should remain in footbball? I'm sure Zola can still play a mean cross if he tries, does that mean Chelski should re-sign him? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 9:04pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
debosky: not only because of that cross. he also tamed ronaldinho in that tie. moreover, neville was outstanding in the last 5 games of last season where he featured against man city(away). . . .he murdered craig bellamy in that match as well. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by duduspace(m): 9:19pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
HNIC: Why? when he was still getting dem dodgy ref calls. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by MrTA(m): 9:59pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
Oi, You gooners should show some respect to Gary Alexander Neville. He's a legend and has won more titles than your whole squad together! Respect your egbon! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by ritchboy(m): 10:34pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
all united players are under-rated. the most under-rated player in europe is luis nani. ask any sports journo, they will tell you paraplegics like bale, nasri, arshavin and joe cole are all better than nani. roll out the contribution each player has made this season and you will be shocked nani's goal assists is twice (bale + nasri + malouda) combined. This man don come again. . . Bale + Nasri + Malouda have 8 assists between them in the league alone. Nani doesnt have up to double their figures. . . stop yarning dust! Are you aware Arshavin has over 13 assists this season? Any sports journo will tell you Joe Cole is better than Nani? Do you by any chance refer to your pot-bellied friends as "sports journos"? As for all United players being underrated. . . |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 11:41pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
ritchboy: firstly, arshavin has 9 league assists. nani has 12 of those. secondly, nasri has 1 league assist(same as van der sar), bale has 1 league assist as well and malouda has 4 league assists. 4 + 1 + 1 = 6 league assists(combined league assists of 3 world class wingers) and nani has 12 in the league alone. i used to think you are one of the few gooners who could count, i thought wrong.
how is this relevant to the topic of discussion? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by ritchboy(m): 11:56pm On Feb 02, 2011 |
http://www.premierleague.com/page/Statistics In the league, Bale has 3 assists, Nasri has 1, Malouda has 4. 3 + 1 + 4 = 8. Is 8 * 2 = 12 in your village? In all competitions, your claim becomes even more ludicrous. Nani is very skillful but unfortunately he was taking a piss when the god of soccer was sharing football brains |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by ritchboy(m): 12:02am On Feb 03, 2011 |
Hmmm, just checked the stats page and Bale is only credited with one assist there. . . funny cos he has 3 assists in FPL! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 12:03am On Feb 03, 2011 |
ritchboy: you have lost your ability to count so i won't push this any further. bale has one league assist, not three. . . . .and if you count the combined league assists of bale, nasri and malouda, nani has twice as many as they have got. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by ritchboy(m): 12:18am On Feb 03, 2011 |
roll out the contribution each player has made this season and you will be shocked nani's goal assists is twice (bale + nasri + malouda) combined. This was ur original comment which is still fallacious cos you didnt mention you were talking about the league alone. |

The gunner army of illiterates invades again. Soon,we'll hear that 5 goals by one individual isn't a hat-trick. . . Trust some Kunta Kinte to even think about arguing about Nani's contribution. duduspace:How so?Like Bendtner's penalty in the FA Cup lat sunday,eh? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Emperoh(m): 8:41am On Feb 03, 2011 |
Seriously, i don't blame people who diss these Gaynners as utterly indecent intellectually!!! Jeez. . . .i have refused to get involved with them as it seems they emit something worse than objectivity!! What is hard to understand and swallow about Nani having the 12 assists twice as much as the players compared? Anyway, Mancs, i guess Gary saw the handwriting on the wall and did the honorable thing!! Who's next? Giggs, Scholes? |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by HNIC(m): 9:52am On Feb 03, 2011 |
StarBoard:How was Bendtner's penalty in the FA cup on sunday dodgy? Are u saying he was not impeded by the Huddersfield defender? SMH . . . . |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Nobody: 10:00am On Feb 03, 2011 |
HNIC:Ask me again. Your head is so up AW's rear-end,you can only see what he had for breakfast. . . You know that was a soft penalty. . . |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by DoubleN(m): 10:15am On Feb 03, 2011 |
Garry Baba has finally called it quits! Thanks for the one Champions League triumph, eight Premier League titles, three FA Cup victories, two League Cups, the Intercontinental Cup and the Fifa World Club Cup. |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by HNIC(m): 10:38am On Feb 03, 2011 |
StarBoard:How will I know it's a soft penalty. U are just telling me! FFS,by your own rules, every penalty must involve a player doing a 'De Jong' or a 'Rio Ferdinand kung fu kick' on an opponent before a penalty kick is given Bendtner was about to pull the trigger and the defender hindered him(He was even given a yellow card). If it wasn't a penalty, I wonder what it was. If you were asked on your opinion about Everton's goal, just because it was Arsenal playing, I bet you will say Saha's goal was legit! |
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by Cougar2: 11:42am On Feb 03, 2011 |
ritchboy: what else could i be talking about? carling cup games or emirate cup where nani doesn't feature? you came out with your chest-beating attitude that nani/bale/malouda have contributed 8 league goal assists until your delayed logic process decided to check the stats properly. admit you are wrong so we can deal with your psych-evaluation with immediate alacrity. Double N: * Premier League (: 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2006–07, 2008–09 * FA Cup (3): 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04 * Football League Cup (2): 2005–06, 2009–10 * FA Community Shield (3): 1996, 1997, 2008 * UEFA Champions League (1): 1998–99 * Intercontinental Cup (1): 1999 * FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008 neville truly was one of the best players in europe in his position during his prime. fantastic right-back, and he played a crucial role in a long period of success for united. his personality rubs people up the wrong way, but he's loyal, professional and completely passionate about the club he played for. i bet every team wishes they had someone like him in this era of lazy mercenaries. neville is a throwback to when players were emotionally tied to their clubs for life - do you hear the drums? torres? thierry henry? carlos tevez? |
