I swear some Nigerians love for money is something else....I was about climbing a bike this evening and the dust no be here so I decided to change the face mask I had with me because i misplaced the one I bought just yesterday morning so i entered the small pharmacy to get the face mask at the 50naira,the guy told me it's 100naira now ooo after speaking to his colleague though I don't know what they discussed...I was shocked and I told the guy I just bought one yesterday from him at 50naira. I definitely knew this was attributed to the coronavirus outbreak in Lagos today...I left and moved to another pharmacy and bought it at 50naira as usual. Now this is my thought, the more you increase the price ,the more people won't be able to afford it and the more it will spread faster and even spread back to you,..Fellow Nigerians this is not the time to be greedy. Let's have the fear of God ,it's not always about our leaders.what about us?

Humnas are greedy. I love cakes and confections alot. So much that i eat it daily for the past few years. Recently a aldy around me started producing, i started to buy o. Three four cakes.. recently, i approached her and i always ask the price before buying everytime. I asked how much is this cake, she said 250 Naira. I said okay, give me so and so quantities. I ws on my way out so i dressed to destroy/kill grin I mistakenly brought out pieces of 1,000 Naira notes, gave to her, by the time she gave me change i was shocked. So i asked. How much are the cakes, she was like 300 naira

Somehow between when i asked and after she got my money the price had jumped. Needlessly to say sye makes delicious cakes, its the last time she saw me there. Dishonesty pisses me off. Greed to the core

Naturally, humans are greedy beings who cannot be totally satisfied. Conversely, you were also greedy expecting no sudden increments.

They have 'one way' thoughts.... they don't think back and forth

How is it stupid??

I experienced the same thing....I got a full package for N700 took it to work and gave to my colleagues.., Went back to get it again today, was told it's now N1,000.

I got angry and left.... Planning to get it tomorrow.... With the massive greed, we will all die trying to manipulate the price for excess gain.

I thought he was going to say 3k..

Op so na 50naira pain you reach to open this thread.. What if his supplier added money ,based on demand? Is he the manufacturer? Even if he is,did u not study basic economics of price and demand?

See how he rushed and added Igbo in his made up story.. When bird flu was on ground do u remember how live cow and cowmeat went astronomical?

I didn't intentionally add Igbo bro, this was just my experience...this act applied to all Nigerians. You said I opened this thread because of 50naira abi..., Even if it's 5naira, what is bad is bad. Our inability to speak out is why banks and other institutions always get away with it. Also remember that all fingers are not equal, you maybe able to afford it at a higher price but others can't

that Igbo comment spoilt your write up.. How are u going to convince anybody its not an ethnic profile mission. Your story even sounds made up.
