Well, guys we shouldn't over flog this, The fact his this; how do u tell a good personality from a bad one? Simply by their seeds. Your seeds are your words, actions, etc. A man is nothing without his brain and heart; our actions are products of our thought(brain) and state of mind, What SGF did back then expressed his person (subject to change though); someone else would have backed out and stayed clear, it was an epitome of betrayal. Nevertheless, we are all human being, we are bound to make mistake sometimes but the most important factor is when we make mistake do we actually realize we did and wish we could show remorse and make corrections or do we just pretend it's normal? Well, i felt disappointed back then because of his action but who am i to contest if he felt disappointed with his role later in his life and felt he could do some mending. I think this is what we should bother ourselves about, Maybe he will do his best this time around still i don't know |

A man can never change unless he understands what a change is all about. The change we need in africa is fundamental,we got ask the question of who we are and what we actully believe in as human, weather it is for us to give in to nature or harmoniously control nature for the good of all. |

Baba_O: If I were you I'll just swallow my pride and accept the correction. Can you please educate me on what "olodo" means ? |

My people this is just the beginning, OBJ hv not seen anything, i bet there are more IBB and Abacha's boys that will be planted in Yar' Adua cabinet. OBJ thought hausas are fool, he will soon realised his mistakes. He thought it's only him that knows everything, He always like things done in his own way, can u imagine some of the PDP presidential contestant then from south south with nice concept, programme and vision. But No! OBJ no go gree. We hv a problem in this country every leaders choose successors for selfish reasons not the one that will competently do the job. As regards Baba Gana Kingibe, though he's competent for the position but he's done enough for this country, moreover history is not in his favour at all, so it's a mistake on the part of Yar Adua to hv chosen him, i believe there other equally competent people that can do the job irrespective of age or gender. |

IG: Oh, thank you kind sir, for those words of wisdom. I have made this observation so many times on this site. Not all Northerners are Hausa, neither are they all muslims. In fact, there is great cultural diversity in the North! Don't let all the petty propaganda fool you! |

It is not a tribal thing,it is about a group of suppose elites stealing and mismanaging the country's revenues, their elitism is foolishness because they are not even as resourceful as common termites, but then again it will be our own decision as a people to continue the way we are going or put a stop it.what is happening in niger delta is just the begining, even though their cause is still been influence by lack of proper insight due to same poor orientation of just living for today and forgetting tomorrow. |

pls Nigerians should allow yaradua to do his work. chosing the people he wants is not the problem, what we want is the people that will move Nigeria to a greater hight. SGF or no SGF, yaradua should do his best and leave the rest to God. |

Nigerians are very good critics and good critics we know from experience do not make good leaders. |

Honestly, I do not understand President Umaru anymore. I thought his advent meant a clean break from the ugly Nigerian past. But with this, it is obvious the man is dining and planning to dine more with the very people who were callous enough to call the shots on his own brother, Shehu's death. All we can do is wait and see, and if need be, take to militancy if the Abacha Cabal is re-empowered. |

Appointing Kingibe is a very big mistake. This govt came into power thru a very flawed process, and I think President Yar'dua should try as a matter of necessity build credibility and by that, he should very careful of how he appoints and whatever. Just listen to Kingibe's speech. We might be going dowm the road again. |

It seems that Nigerians like to complain about almost everything. Can those that complain about this appointment suggest Nigerians Yar'adua should have appointed as the SFG and why? A country where almost everyone is always complaining and suggestions are hard to come by won't develop fast. |
