Yahoo Yahoo or OBT or 419 (old name) 2.) American Visa Lottery - this helped lots of Nigerians escape poverty 3.) Illegal migration to Europe via Sahara Desert 4.) Internet freelancing 5.) Mini Importation & Dropshipping (2013 to 2017) for modern youths These are the things that helped most Nigerian families escape poverty. 1 in every 10 Nigerian family escaped poverty through any of the above methods I listed 11 Likes |

One thing I know from experience is bad attitude, that's not been flexible and compromising in a business setting (and I don't mean been corrupt, just plain rubbish stubborn head) will slow you down so much in this wealth journey. Am that one person that believe so much in a particular trade because I had made serious cash from it before uni. Infact, it made my uni bills. Had opportunity with a colleague, who after my uni has become wealthy in the trade. I talked to him and he decided to finance a stock I wanted to buy but, I failed to discuss sharing formula with him. I just took it that he his lending me to pay him back (over 3mil) if and only if he acts as my agent, which is the legit thing in the industry. My brother ontop that consignment I slept three nights on the way. Apparently its a big truck transporting it from S/E and based on the humongous credit from my friend I decided not to take any chances. I arrived, sold and my guy mentioned for the first time that am working for him, the very first time he would ever mention something like that. Meaning, he keeps the capital and interest, and gives whatever he wants. I bust. I wouldn't take it, we went into a shouting match, and finally was asked to leave his office. He later called for we to settle but I won't come. I was still obviously angry. In anger I had told him to keep everything. After my anger has subsided I called requesting we meet outside his office to discuss, he insisted am I come to his office but I wouldn't bulge. Am not about to go back where I was chased from. He refused, I refused and we ended up not meeting. My own part of the deal stucked with him. Fast forward to a year later, after him I stopped as I didn't have capital to follow up and didn't want to take the matter any further, apparently I had no evidence or witness on my side, everything happened in his office and all present was his guys. So, I decided to leave business till I can finance myself or could work out a better deal with someone else. I decided to use my cert, I got a 9-5er that was horrible and was never happy going there. My mind is always on business, I actually believed thats the only venture that can truly satisfy me and grant me the time I had always seemed for. In short, business has been my dream. I soon had to swallow my pride I started calling friends in the industry, even my friend. Till this day none is willing to talk business with me because of that fracas with my friend. The industry is really that small. I find it very hard to let go and have even suggest I work with any of them as employeee just to be in the system on whatever pay they want, I was met with stark silence. I doubted, forgave myself, swallowed my pride, and still nothing yet. No job, because I finally resigned to go seek happiness. Am on the street and still confused on how to move. So...be flexible in business, always put discussed agreement in writing no matter what, then go further I suggest both parties append their signature. As for me, am still confident more than ever that this phase shall pass, and I will be all in your face to write my complete story. Vicas2000: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Jesus name Christ, the miracle worker wants to heal you right now. Kneel down on your kneels and cry out to the Lord for mercy. Ask God to forgive you of your sins. Once you are done with that, stand up and with your two hands to heaven shout for 7times God of Elijah perfect my hearing in the name of Jesus. Immediately after the 7th time, be still, eyes closed and two hands sill up. Stay that way for 5minutes. Then see the wonder working power of God. Please after you have received your healing kneel down, praise and give the king of Kings thanks. Thank you Jesus Olayinka8793: |

SimplePlan34:Don't give up okay Change tactics. See, in this journey of liberating yourself and family from the virus called poverty, you can apply several tactics, but don't ever venture into money ritual, robbery or anything diabolic, it backfires but you can play some smartness to help yourself. If you are a lady you can liberate yourself through marriage to a guy doing well by packaging yourself well, its not a crime even though we try to condemn it. Even if you are a guy you can also apply same tactics but don't target Nigerian ladies, target white ladies and be ready to compromise- don't go looking for sweet sixteen white girl to marry, nope, they will compound your problem and frustration, just close eye and go for the older, maybe obese white ladies who are doing well financially or who are citizens of their countries and marry so they can help you relocate out of Nigeria where you can start working and earning good income to improve your financial life. Set a plan. Compromise where necessary and don't ever give up or confess negative. Believe me, you can achieve anything. See, right from school I kept telling my friends I want to have a company and be a CEO and they will be laughing but this has always been my sole desire and even when I was unemployed, underemployed and in fact miserable, I kept imagining how it would be if I own a company, I kept fantasizing about it and kept thinking of ways to start a company. I am not joking, the law of attraction works. Apply the law of attraction in your life and you will get your heart desires in life. Even when things were difficult for me I never believed I would be poor. I kept laughing that how can I end up poor, that its not possible na. Sometimes I will be laughing while alone and its cos I was imagining myself being poor and my mind will tell me it cannot happen and I will start laughing. You won't die like this. You won't be poor. So pickup yourself and restrategize pls okay Nnamdi Azikiwe first Nigeria's President wanted to commit suicide because of life frustration while young but he ended up as Nigeria's first President. Many successful people you see today were once suicidal due to life frustration 10 Likes 1 Share |

I was never poor because when I went through and still go through what people call poverty I always fought it with a wealth mindset. The strategy is to always try and live below your means. No dey go do pass yourself 3 Likes 1 Share |

DamonSalvatore: Your story is quite touching. If I may ask you, who do you blame for your predicament? God, Parents, Government, yourself or other people I do not mention here? ''Long story short... My life is meaninglessness.. I'm just clowning Online to kill depression.. If I see anywhere wey i fit Sell my soul to give my parents and my younger bro and Sis Money to enjoy life forever... I'd do it.... All the ones have seen are demanding sacrifice.. I'm a half atheist anyways...So many prayers have gone unanswered that I have doubts about anybody up there'' I just diagnosed your predicament from your statement. You have attracted plenty of troubles in your life through your unguarded speech. ''The secret of advancement in life lies in the ability to say the right king of words''. ( E.W KEYON). Thou are snared with the words of thy mouth, thou are taken with the word of thy mouth( Proverbs 6: 2). your utterances are just where you have been missing it. It does not matter what you believe, things go awry for people who charge their atmosphere with negative utterances. WORDS are very powerful my sister. regardless of any negative circumstances, always confess positive things over your situation. As regards to your belief in God, I am sorry to say you do not know the God you have accepted. As a new believer in Christ, the first step believers should take after believing in Christ Jesus is to give themselves over to the absolute study of God's word prayerfully and meditatively instead of running from one prayer ground to another. Second thing is to invest in Christian literature that will pop open your eyes to spiritual truth. My sister, you have a great destiny, the devil can't offer you anything but to destroy you at the end. God Almighty will turn your fortune if you can rededicate your life to Jesus. Nigeria's economy is affecting everyone, but trust God, He'll always come to your aid if you trust him. Come back to Jesus, He is waiting for you. 5 Likes |

Summary of me Escaping Poverty: God, Determination, Perseverance, Service and Purpose. 1. You need to understand the meaning of Poverty before you can find a solution to it. Poverty is simply accumulation of needs 2. You need a reason to hate Poverty inorder to escape it. Am from a broken home, I saw what Poverty did to my mother despite being a fervent Christian. So I determined to break the cycle. 3. As a teenager, I hawked everything "hawkable" it helped me to build resilience and hardworking skills. My first job after secondary school was #1000 as a teacher in year 2000 (too small right?) There is dignity in labour. 4. Select your friends: Some don't know they are poor, so stay away from such. Sacrifice youthful lust and exuberance, face your destiny. Older people make better friends, you will learn from their stories. Pray for Helpers of destiny. 5. Fight poverty physically and spiritually: I became born again in 2003. 50% of my poverty and problem was solved with that singular act. God showed me my future so I endured and persevered with my then challenges. 6. You may forget about Marriage or relationship when you are poor. It will save you from stress and keep you focus. After significant progress on your plan then marry or start relationship. 7. Get used to fasting and crying to God and crying for yourself. 8. Set goals and milestones for yourself. It helps you to know when you arrive at your destination. List what you intend to achieve at various age and stick with it. God works with plan and expectations. The Bible says the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short. 9. Render service to people/serve people without thinking of reward. Value prayer over money or reward while serving people. Their goodwill and recommendations will give you what you need. This is very important. In conclusion, you can do it because I did it with God on your side. Your children and your world will thank you for it. I live in diaspora and a regular intercontinental flyer. 10 Likes 1 Share |
