When is the next census and what should be asked? by Blue3k(m): 3:44am On Apr 13, 2020 |
Nigeria needs conduct a census for proper planning and to adjust allocation. It's been 14 years since the last census was conducted. Nigeria has been stalling due to a lack of funds. It seems the Buhari administration is uninterested in conducting it so the next administration should tackle it. Demographic information: • ethnic background • sex • age • address • household size • citizenship • does anyone in the house live elsewhere. • home ownership or renting What other questions should be asked? CoronaVirusRelo: Interesting I wouldn't think Nigerians would want such an option. I might see the government asking about religion and marital status. Religious demographics is something nairalanders seem to obsess over so it should be asked. Example: Kaduna is 45 Christian or something. |
