I get you, what I was saying is that, she has nothing to worry about if she can defend herself and one more thing, I know she didn't stay in Hotel throughout the 4 months, hope she included the person she's stayed with in her previous application.
Thanks for the response and Oh yes she included the person she was going to stay with in her previous application .

Just a quick question, for one travelling for Christmas holiday , 2wks to be specific and want to self sponsor the trip, how much is required to be in bank account statement to show as proof of funds?

There are no restrictions. People have been travelling. Just the way you explained at the UK POE. Be ready to also give a rational explanation when asked at the US POE.

OK fine then So these are some questions i wanted to ask you nothing more. If you don't mind I want to clarify if travel to d US is only for essential travels. If they allow visitor to visit relatives on vacation purpose especially since this covid era. Though I plan doing d vacation for next year summer, and I heard dates are scare.
Reason I want clarification is because when I traveled to the UK this Easter break, the Immigration Officer asked me why travel this period of Pandemic, that is only for Essential travels, and does not see my visit as Essential travel to him, but I explained to him its essential to me as I need to spend the Easter break with our family friend taking off my annual leave, that I was supposed to be here last year December to spend the Christmas with her but couldn't make it because my visa didn't come out before Christmas, so I decided to come now that is convenient for me before it will expire. And after asking me my duration of stay he stamped me in.
So I just needed to be certain thanks

Your bank accounts will likely not be checked, just be ready to provide answers to the questions that will be asked around your travel and every other thing in between.

Thanks. If I may ask, how many days does one need to quarantine when you get to the US. Let's say you stay with a relative. Or you don't need to quarantine again after you do a test 48hours before departure.
Is the visa for for b1/b2 still N59,200.
If your visa is approved at d embassy do they still pay additional fee of about 45k.
Thank you

No additional fee is to be paid after visa approval.

If you didn't submitted form DS 160 form you can't be able to booked for appointment.
I think you can book an appointment date even without submitting your DS 160 form. All you need is to create your profile and generate your DS 160 application form number and use it to book an appointment then return to your form and fill appropriately and submit within 30days of creating your profile. Every DS 160 form must be submitted within 30days of generating the application form number. Thats it.

Hello all Goodevening
I really appreciate every one here with the countless assistance and informations
Please I would like to apply for a B1/B2 application
Though I have an on going immigrant application, which is still on process.( I also have my migrant file number which I added on the B1 : B2 form ) But I intend applying just for a few weeks visit to go see my mom, she would send me a letter of invitation on that effect. Do I have any chances of getting a visa ?
Note

Special greetings to everyone in the house.
Thanks once again for your assistance and guidance on this forum.

I was given an interview date for March of 2022 in Abuja (B1 B2 visa), though I find that a little late as I intend visiting for three weeks this summer.
Please is there anything I can do to get a closer date for an interview?

Thank you all.

As far as I know ,visiting doesn't qualify you for an emergency appointment so I think there isn't much you can do about getting a closer date.

I made payment and booked appointment last year before the pandemic for a b1 visa and now I'm planning on changing to f1 visa. The visa fee is higher now but my receipt is still valid. How do I pay the balance left.

A new Ds-160 has been filled already to change to f1 Visa class

Also will there be any issues changing from one visa class to another.

Can someone help with these questions

fkj950ax:

1. Get an international passport
2. Go to ceac.state.gov and fill a DS160 Application Form
3. Pay for interview at GTB
4. Go to ustraveldocs.com.ng to book an appointment, using the numbers from steps 1-3

Hello!
Please I mistakenly created a profile under ustraveldocs in Norway instead of in Nigeria. I have sent several emails to them to change the location to Nigeria to no avail. And I don't want to use email different from the one I used to fill D-160 form.
Please can I create another profile using another email?
