Good morning, please concerning the latest from cic about international students, what is the probability that student visa would be granted having being offered admission, paid fees and eventually been attending online classes till thing go back to normal. They said internationl students would be asked to attend classes online for fall 2020. |

Well-done my brother. Some people don't deserve to be in this forum.I had first class in Elect/Elect Engineering worked with a verifiable federal parastatal as an Engineer with good salary, submitted payslip, salary account, leave letter, recommendation letter(was denied for current employment situation) paid complete tuition fees for two years of my desired program (was denied for insufficient fund for tuition fee).had a running business which s verifiable, had 8600 USD available in my dorm account for living expenses for more than 4 months(was denied for insufficient fund for living expenses), married with children with my wife doing a verifiable job too , had properties evaluated etc yet was denied with flimsy reasons. How can Ircc justify my denial of immigration status with no travel history?.I was given only insufficient fund for tuition in my second application as d only reason for denial. This prompted me to pay full tuition for 2yrs of d program.we are on nairaland to share information, learn from peoples mistake, encourage people and not to cajole people and your country even when u know we have genuine applicants from Nigeria..I was given bvl just 3 to4 days after d third application.. Let ircc be consistent wit their application reviews Naijaforeigner: 6 Likes 1 Share |

dejilale:lol, you have to be a bonafide student to attend classes else it's a waste of time if you dont get the visa only thing you can do now is defer your course till next session...contact your school and tell them you want to defer, they'll extend it till another time.they know getting the visa is part of the process,so that not a problem. just make sure you contact them,as well as the Canadian embassy, letting them know you've extended your program cuz of the Visa delay. |

dejilale:@deljilale Yes its is advisable, u can apply for PGD-Post Grad. Diploma Or PGC - Post Grad. Certificate That's if u had a 2.2 or 3rd Class But if u have 1st Class or a Strong/quite Strong 2.1, Advisably, applying for Masters is ur best option Note Some Applicants with a 1st class, 2.1 do go for a PGD or PGC as well, cos the applicant might want some hands on Practical experience in a specialized field which PGD/PGC do offer unlike Masters which is more of THEORY & RESEARCH... It all depends on ur Interest... All da Best |

Chalva: I guess you are right bro . I have been following this thread from the very first message Have never applied for the study visa before though hopefully next month Have seen people with less attractive profiles, no solid employment history, minimal funds or incomplete documents and are granted VISA without much hassle and have also seen people with the best profile denied VISA My conclusion is basically for you to do your best to submit all your relevant documents, work on your SOP and pray like never before If you are destined for Canada. Nothing can shake it But don’t quit your dream for a better life 8 Likes 1 Share |

ralfudoh: In your initial post, you said 99% of Nigerians use fake documents. You also said it clearly that Nigerians are not honest. You get called out and try to now act all nice and start praising Nigerians? I will ignore your rants. Whatever makes you sleep well at night. 2 Likes

Meek127: But please be careful. I know someone who did a 1 year program and when it was about time to renew his study permit for his second program, his sponsor said he could no longer take on the cost for his second program. Things like this do happen. Your sponsor also plays a role in all of this most especially if he/ she is a third party sponsor. 1 Like |

JustMellow: Thanks boss, I went back to this your post, checked some of the PGD in biz management and biz admin, they have what I actually needed, more cost effective and time saving. Also with some of the biz schools, if one do well in the pgd, MBA is possible after a year. I already applied to schools for Bachelor of biz admin, very sure I am letting them go, wish they could refund though but I think its non-refundable. Thanks once again. 1 Like |

Zika123: There is a whole lot to PR and there are so many routes to PR. It just depends on the one you decide to use. It is a points based system. I cannot specifically give an age range. So let me put it this way, people below 30 will get more points than people over 30. But age is not the only criteria. I will advise you ty to understand the whole process, the possible routes so that you can make an informed decision. |

Meek127: There is nothing wrong with self sponsorship. Just show proofs of what you do for a living or how you got the funds. It’s fine. |

At least I didnt say 100%. Incase you dont understand the difference between 99 and 100. 99% means there are still those who dont use fake documents. You still affirmed to all I said, quoting what goes on in Toronto and all, are these not the same things I said. I also pointed out that not everyone that qualifies for a visa is issued one. Its obvious you just want attention. I asked, are my points not valid. Other countries too do the same thing, how come Nigeria has 81% rejection rate. Isn't it a cause for concern? Naijaforeigner: |

librangyps: My initial post were guidelines and my opinion. I did not include birth certificates of siblings in my application. All I did was fill out their names, DOB in the family information form. However, there is no one size fits all. If you feel the need to include those documents, please do. You can never get penalized for including extra documents. Just make sure all the documents are legible enough for the VO. That’s the most important thing. On the issue of Toefl, you already ticked it on the form, so you can include it. If you think GMAT is needed as well, please do. Even though we give guidelines on what to do and what not, the most important person is YOU. It is very important that you feel happy and comfortable with documents submitted for your application. I pray you get your visa, your documents look solid. I really love the fact that you did further research on information you received here. I wish you all the best. 3 Likes |

ralfudoh: When you say 99% statistically and scientifically, you have said that a greater percentage of the Nigerian population uses fake document. It's close to been fallacious and it is wrong. Where do you get your data from? Respect , One love. 2 Likes |

ralfudoh: I didn't want to reply to this post but I feel everything about it is wrong...you said your friend told you 99% of Nigerians that applied for study visa use fake documents....do u actually know what that 99 means...that out of 10 ppl that applied for the Visa that 9 out of the 10 submitted fake documents and just 1 person is legit...haba naa... how do you both come about this Figure...did you carry out any research? Have you guys worked with the Canadian embassy before...what is your basis to this Figure...this is so baseless.....oh common cut us some slack manh...haba As you are putting up with the figures...at least it should come with supporting documents..references from verified articles and all....you can't just boom and start telling us what your friend told you...Who is your Friend again... 6 Likes 1 Share |
