Bizibi: What is 11 trillion Naira in dollars? What is 11 trillion Naira divided by even 100 million people? Many of you lack analytical skills. |

If the loan is approved, expect the Naira to appreciate in value. The money will be injected into the economy. Also, in a month's time, lockdowns will start to come down in many countries and this will see a lift up in economic activities. This will lead to transportation activities picking up which will lead to a massive jump in the demand for crude oil. Price of crude will jump and may top $40 per barrel. Such a price point will mean there's more forex in the system which will make any appreciation sustenable for a while. Only question is for how long. Nigeria suffers from double digit inflation so is a candidate for persistent currency depreciation (only economic illiterates will argue with this) |
