There is one teaching that much of the organized religions, that even expand beyond Christianity, share amongst themselves. That is, there should be a special place of worship that believers commonly gather together, both to fellowship and worship.

With such a standard belief, many of those churches, will be quite elaborate, beautiful, decorative, but really resource intensive.

Costing much money for material, labour etc.

Much of those religious worship centers only have its attendees gather some times every week, which usually at the best.

Now Paul said with regard to the current in 1Corinthians 3 :16-17, 1Corinthians 6:13-20 2 Corinthians 6:16- 18 That THE PEOPLE THEMSELVES( not inanimate objects) but believers are the temple.

Also in Acts 7:46-50 Acts 17:24-25 (Quite clear passage) we see that scripture says that God doesn't dwell in buildings made by our hands.

In John 4: 20-24 Jesus himself says to the girl at the well, that there'll be a time where worshippers of the daddy worship him in spirit and in fact. And not in Jerusalem or in Samaria

With this agreement between Paul and Jesus in the scriptures, why then is all the resources that are spent for gathering together not better spent elsewhere?

In foresight, I see a common argument that may come is in Hebrews 10 and Hebrews 3 where it is said that the assembly of the brethren, especially as we see the day drawing near, should not be forsaken.

So I presented an issue: These "Christians" are spending unnecessary resources that could go to the poor and sick around the world, which would have a more profound impact on the world in which we live.

I will also present the solution: One would say, well where then would believers assemble for fellowship and worship. And to that I would say look to the example of Jesus' disciples, and that of the church of the book of acts.

They lived all together, sharing everything in common. Such a lifestyle would fend off much of their greed (having houses, land, and goods far beyond appropriate for just a single individual)

While collectively making a big impact on the world around them for choosing to live a more modest and humble lifestyle.

I think such a shift in how the current model is, to such a revolutionary change, would create almost immediate change.

CHRISTIANS ARE THE TRUE TEMPLE OF GOD, NOT A CHURCH BUILDING!!!
