Apex youth organization in the Niger Delta, the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), has instructed Biafra and Oduduwa secessionists to go away the Ijaw nation out of what they name ‘their utopian republics’.

Chairman, IYC Transition Implementation Committee, Kennedy Olorogun, stated this on behalf of the organisation on Saturday.

According to him, the Ijaw nation does not want to be annexed to different imagined ethnonational territories.

He stated the Ijaw state is presently confronted with the renewed quest for nationalism inside the Nigerian geopolitical arrangement.

Olorogun mentioned that the state of affairs in the country may additionally have compelled different tribes, companies and ethnic nationalities in the country, such as the Oduduwa and a variety of moves championing the Biafran purpose to renew their agitation for separate states.

Ipob included Ijaws in Biafra NOT IGBOS... note the difference. Ipob speak only for a tiny audience of Igbos. The general and popular consensus among the greater Igbo nation is that Biafra if it ever comes, will have only Igbo speaking groups in it. We no send Ijaws, I for one wish them all the best.
