Even if you think Islam is idolatry, 1 Cor 8 expressly says it's ok to eat food offered to idols. What else do you want to hear? Someone being a sango worshipper may be more acceptable to the Father than you who calls himself a Christian. Judge not that ye be not judged. Idolatry is bowing down to idols and recognising their superiority over your life. It has nothing to do with food.

Intelligent response. Seeing responses such as this is refreshing.
We all claim to be the only person with the true knowledge. They ask us why we are so sure of this and we say it is written in our books. Now, most of the religions have books, most have prophets, priests or leaders of theirs. Based on these claims, we fight among ourselves, we kill and maim; To make matters worse, some people claim their God is the all powerful, yet they fight on his behalf (what an Irony!!).
Make I go follow you sef.

Don’t defile yourselves with food dedicated to the Arabian spirit. It will bring you bad luck all year round. It happened to my brother a few years ago. He is yet to recover. The Antichrist spirit in Islam is very strong and dangerously misleading to many. Stay far away from them.

They also don't believe in salvation through Jesus Christ. No rapture as far as they are concerned. The concept of sonship of God thru Jesus Christ is unacceptable to them. Etc etc
on the contrary.. Muslims believe in th3 2nd coming of Jesus Christ to kill dajal and save the world from antichrist. That Jesus didn't die but was raised up to the heaven and come to complete his mission in his 2nd coming

It only fake believers that practices what you are doing. Go to the north, you wouldn't see any Hausa/Fulani moslem accepting easter or Christmas meat(food) from Christians.

You can also visit the former eastern region and check if you will find any indigenous Christian accepting food or meat from moslems during their festivals

Yorubas are our major problem in Nigeria as a nation. They don't know what is abomination is religion or politics. No different between Yoruba Moslems and Christians. They can freely share their place of worship with each other. The will eat anything eatable and married themselves regardless of what their religious holy book said. Yoruba attached no value to their religious belief but their personal comfort

and how is that ur business? Brainwashed hypocrite......u think say the yorubas are uncivilized like ur people? Religion bullshits kill u there....

It's not what enters your mouth that makes you unclean.

It's what come out of your mouth of cos frm d abundance of ur heart.

If eating is gonna affect your brethren's faith, you shouldn't.

Otherwise, Salah meal is usually wonderful

I won't call you names. Meanwhile that nonsense you type isn't it, I am Yoruba Muslim, I don't eat meat that is killed for something else than Allah, Meat that Allah's name is not called upon before slaughtering and new year, Christmas, Easter foods and all sort. Any other food aside this is Halal (rightful) for us to ear. Not because of hatred but because is against my belief.
It's ONLY those that doesn't have the knowledge of Islam in Yorubaland that does what you said not Yoruba in general.

I already read that verse. but I need to hear your thoughts.
I feel since There is only one God, and this one God is both the God and Father of Jesus and the Lord Jesus himself. Because Jesus is Lord, idols are themselves nothing, following the tradition of the critique of idolatry in the Old Testament. We have nothing to fear, and nothing to worry about—and we are therefore free to eat whatever food we like, without any anxiety.
Carry on!

And you'd be less bitter the moment you realize Jesus didn't come for authentic and perfect believers like you. Besides, are youva Christian because you go to church following what your pastor says, sinning differently by being selective with the scriptures or you are a true believer in Christ's love?

"While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.
When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Ignore him please. Read Romans 14. If you have faith, you can eat it. Besides, hunger never wire you. If REAL HUNGER wire you, you go chop with GREAT thanksgiving without even "remembering" to ask questions. Thank you.
1 Cor 8 is a better reference.
