James took over form the Lord Jesus? that's a strange gospel to me.....Took over as how? All the disciples took over and continued from were the Lord stopped.....If you're talking about leadership among the disciples by appointment, then it's Peter that was appointed to lead the rest.

Then among the 12 the inner circle was Peter, John the beloved and James.

Of a truth nothing is wrong with it. Joel Osteen father passed him a church of 90 people. Today, the Church has grown to 90,000 people. Now, if Joel passes the Church to his son, people are going to go gaga.

Question is, why are people not angry at a pastor who has 50 members and passes it to son but would open eye when the membership is large and the founder passes it on to his on.

Personally, I'm indifferent anyway. Anyone can carry it as long as God's interest are served foremost.

Oga please read the story of Joel Osteen again o. A simple check on google would suffice. 90 people? Father passed the church to him? Na wa. His first sermon was 6 days before his father, John Osteen died and Joel was appointed as Pastor months later by the church board although he was already preaching regularly. Secondly, the church was no where as small as 90 people (may be in the early days) while his father was alive.
