I want to have a good-paying job when I get married. I hate to be financially handicapped in marriage.

Is it when or before?
Re: What Was Your Monthly Income When You Married? by Nobody: 2:09pm On Jun 15, 2020
Monthly income was a total of 0 Naira grin. I was living on my savings from previous job of 90k monthly. 3 months after marriage I got a job that paid almost 5 times my last salary. Even though I had to work in another state and come home weekends, it's been a blessing.
If you marry the right woman.. just know you are blessed

Had no income at all but she was with me 8yrs. I proposed and she said yes because I was willing to do any kind of job for her, and while we were still trying to figure out what to do with our miserable lives, a good federal Govt. Job came on a platter. I now believe that phrase in the holy book "he who finds a wife............."

What was your monthly income when you, as a man took the bold decision of marrying her?

Does marriage really pave ways for more blessings?

I'm thinking of taking the giant step at 30, but really scared of the future.

Please share your experience so that intending husbands like me can get motivation.
Marriage is not all about how much you are earning but the detamination to start with what you have in agreement with the person you're to marry. My was 20k that was 2008.

Be optimistic. That you're earning averagely now doesn't mean you'll remain at that level.

What if you wait and till 60 you're still an average earner? Is it then you'll now decide to settle down? So don't let that be a major determining factor to settling down. Something may or may not happen along the line but just go with the flow in the mean time and hope for the best. Either ways, we will still hope for the best.

We have seen people who started out with high earnings only for things to go south along the line but that didn't make them shut down family life. So put your trust in God and not your present financial status.

good....not working yet but am a fan of Early marriage and plan taking a wife early as soon as i get a job, the key thing is that both should be working and also av other means of income because even if u earn 500k and get married, u can still lose ur job during the marriage and thats where she would help assist and both needs to work for the family....how much a guy earns shouldn't be a determinant before he gets married because life is full of ups and down but a guy should be financially stable to at least provide the basic needs of his family.....las las "ba3 wey full go low and ba3 wey low go still full bt my your charger no spoil...
you are talking in the nonsense sir , do not let motivational speakers deceive you , this is 2020

My salary was ₦17k when I got married @ 32 years of age.
Now, in a new job, I earn ₦70k while my wife works as a private school teacher, though her home lessons income double her salary.
We are blessed with 3 children.
We live happily together.

Just put God first and defeat any sort of fear.

Good luck to you

God will see you through.

If I can't make a profit of at least 5K daily in any business, Marriage can wait...

Mistake most people usually make is getting married without family planning, how can someone be earning less than 30K then get married and start giving birth like rat, frustration may kill you oO... So it's a matter of planning ahead and let your partner understand your financial strength

May our kids never use the food formation: 0 1 0
Zero breakfast! One lunch! Zero dinner

I am a living witness to this, after marriage to my Okija wife my life moved from zero to millions non stop till date... Coincidence? Maybe. But I am enjoying it i swear.

When I got married 16 years ago in Lagos my monthly take home was 16k, today I earn 7 digit annually, 3cars and four flats to the glory of God. All you need is focus and determination, With God every other things will fall into places. Also always look ahead to move and grow your career at any given opportunity. Never be satisfied with your present.

Marry a working wife! One who believes in pooling resources for a better life.

Working wife is not the key..... Most women are stingy and will leave u for the dead even when they work......

It's a woman that loves you and have a good heart....... Many Gals work but still quarrel with their BF for not giving them money for hair......
