why not tender an unreserved apology and if you are to give an excuse or a defense it should be well thought out, intelligent and reasonable.

You got a permit to fly a Judge and when it was discovered the judge was at his destination you decided to use the fight for another purpose. most business men would do the same. but you should have weighed the consequences of your action.
