Many of them don't even know the truth of how to become born again to begin with. They listen to the world's version and think that is it without realizing there is a cost and it requires work(obedience of Jesus Christ's commandments) on their part for it to happen.

Nowadays most Christians are lazy instead of reading the bible and understanding it they prefer to belief what a pastor / MOG tells them. Not knowing the mog is a man and is not perfect. That's why sayings like " my pastor said is rampant " among Christians nowadays. Most of these pastors are neck- deeper into sin and their outer display to the world is fake. That's why I tell people to make God their friends not a pastor. Small thing my pastor said, not minding what God is saying about a situation. That's why fake prophets are on the rise, people are looking for miracles by all means forgetting they have their own part to play in their own situations which is to work, God doesn't bless an empty vessel, you have to work. God forbids bowing down to any graven Images, those doing it can't justify it using the scriptures.
