A freethinker awakened in a religious society from a religious family faces so much subtle segregation from religious folks, you can feel the uneasiness around you because they feel you are possessed by demons and you are the agent of anti-christ talked about that will come raging in the last days... Its not easy to be a freethinker here but stay strong y'all... Avoid bashing religion in presence of people, it will only stir up hatred and discrimination...
Only have r religious conversations with enlightened people who can understand better...
Its not easy but keep your thoughts to yourself as much as possible, Nigeria is not ready for a seismic change in religious ideologies and you will only have more haters which is not good... I wonder how many people would strangle me right away if they can lay hands on me right now...
