NIPOST And FIRS Fight On Twitter Over Stamps. by naptu2: 10:52am On Aug 04, 2020 |
Many people have criticised the Buhari Administration because members of the administration and government agencies have often taken to social media to argue and quarrel over issues that should have been resolved in house. For example, there have been exchange of words on Twitter between the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission and the minister of communications. The latest Twitter fight is between the chairman of the Nigerian Postal Service (Nipost) and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) over the production of stamps and the collection of stamp duty. The chairman Nipost fired the first salvo via this thread. Maimuna Abubakar @ref_ng I am worried for NIPOST, having sleepless night because of NIPOST, we need the general public to come to our aid, FIRS stole our mandate..#justicefornipost https://twitter.com/ref_ng/status/1289939993587146752 This was FIRS reply. How did Maimuna Abubakar get to head an agency such as NIPOST, what criteria was used in selecting her ? Nigerians have been complaining about the brazen nepotism taking place under this junta (such as in this case) we’ve also been complaining about the shocking ineptitude of the selected appointees (from the president down to Maimuna and that disaster lady minus Osinbajo). When will these roforofo embarrassments end bikonu Lalasticlala, come and see Tonto Dikeh eating snake o 34 Likes 4 Shares |

Ministries in the current Buhari government lack synergy, class, and sense of decorum. They, like their oga (PMB), were absent when God was sharing decorum. This is so so wrong and a lack of respect for Nigerians. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Nipost generated N60bn from 200m people, Akpabio and Pondei stole N80bn from 200m people, today one is still minister, the other is still MD NDDC, yet we are still contributing.... We are truly keying into the anti-corruption mantra of Buhari.. 16 Likes |
