[size=15pt]The first news I want to break is that, Aamir will be playing the Villain in dhoom3 (yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapi )[/size]

Spearheaded by Aditya Chopra, the movie will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor). Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their much loved roles of Jai Dixit and Ali. The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release. When contacted, Aamir said, "It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Everytime I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor's script really won me over and I look forward to working with him."

Speaking about Dhoom:3, Yash Chopra adds, "It's a great pleasure to have Aamir working with our banner. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir can bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of our production house."


I know Aamir is not impossibly good looking like John neither is him as stylish as Hrithik but I am absolutely excited. And I believe this will be the best dhoom yet.

The question now is who will play the sexy Sunehri (The role Aishwarya Ria played in dhoom2)

Let it be anybody, anything, even a robot but Katrina Kaif.

I have nothing against this beauty, just that she sucks at acting. God! it will be my worst nightmare come true if she gets this role. Let them spare us from this boring mannequin.

My Favourite Aamir Khan Movies

1) Fanaa

This is my number one favourite movie of Aamir. Beautiful acting, great story line, awesome songs, with my favourite actress Kajol.

2) Taare Zameen Par


Aamir Khan Produced, directed, and acted in this heart touching, soul warming story. My absolute absolute favourite movie. Amazing acting by the adorable Darsheel Safary. A great message not like those full on bollywood masala movies.

I can assure you that this is one of the best movies ever produced in hindi cinema history. Go watch it and come thank me later.

But if you are one of those peeps that leave their brain home when going to the movies then this is not for you.

it took me back to my school years, and filled my heart with those memories. . . I wish I could rewind time.

Aamir proved his versatility yet again in this beautiful story about friendship. Akshaye Khanna superb! Hat off. Saif Ali Khan lol his character was really funny and kool. Preity was a beautiful addition.

4) Ghajini

After Watching this movie, I knew why he is called "Mr Perfectionist"

Never seen any actor so dedicated to their work. An 8 pack abs, (some actors are known for their 6packs. eg- Hrithik, John, Salman etc)
Aamir came with a ripe 8 pack abs and slapped all of them in their faces )  A tough hardcore look, a  power pack intense performance,  Aamir went all the way to the edge to
make sure Ghajini broke box office records.

And it so did. Currently the third highest grossing bollywood film of all time. Ghajini is number 4 on my list.

5)Lagaan Once upon a time in mumbai

I absolutely hate historical films (not my cup of tea ) But this one was a different sort.

Very inspiring and very well made. I am sure SRK slap his-self everyday for refusing this role

I do not know why the movie did not win the Oscar

Our trandition, and way of living is so similar. I mean when I'm watching an indian movie, I can relate so much. A full on indian mom (for example Kiron Kher in dostana) just remind me of my mother

I love Hrithik. He is my fantasy husband. And Aamir Khan is one of the best actors to come out of bollywood.

Aamir Khan is an acquired taste, I think he takes himself way too seriously. I love his movies but I think he needs to loosen up. . .not Salman Khan type loosening up but he could take a page out of SRK.

Anyway, my first Aamir Khan movie was Ishq but my fav is Akele hum, Akele Tum. Liked Dil Chata hai (the bond between the friends was heart warming) and I know I'm prolly gonna catch some flack for this but I thought Lagaan was 

For on screen pairing, I prefer him with Madhuri, Kajol and Juhi (in her prime) . . . I feel they are the only actresses who can match him talent wise, especially Madhuri. He makes ducklings out of the other actresses like Karishma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani. I thought he had to tone down his acting to come to her level.

Thats what make bollywood interesting. Different personalities.

You can not expect Aamir Khan to be SRK, you can not expect SRK to be salman khan.


They all have a different outlook on life, a different approach to work, and a different personality.

SRK is a people's person. Very likable, sweet, funny, kind, sociable, very diplomatic, and politically correct.

Aamir on the other hand, is an introvert. He believe in doing his work, and getting back to his life. Awards shows, parties, events is not really his style.  He is blunt, bold, and down right honest and do not really care what people think. And I respect him for staying true to himself.


Sallu aka Salman Khan is  the combination of the above. (A bit of srk and a bit of Aamir Khan) Sociable, funny, definitely not diplomatic, blunt, fareless and charismatic. With a bad boy image.

In a recent interview with Zoom, Aamir was asked to choose between Ranbir Kapoor and Imran as the better actor. Aamir could not be diplomatic here too and said that he loves Imran but as an actor Ranbir is the better one.

Well, it may hurt Imran but he should not forget the big compliment he received from his ‘mamu’. Aamir said that Imran is a ‘lambi race ka ghoda’, which is no doubt a big compliment for him. Aamir might have given a hint to Imran that he needs to work harder if he really wants to stay in competition in the industry. So, this is a genuine concern of his uncle for his betterment so he should take the positive side of it.

On the other hand, we also cannot completely deny the fact that Ranbir has done much more versatile roles in these years compared to Imran so he deserves that compliment from Aamir.

Raj Kumar Hirani is one of my favourite directors in bollywood. And trust me when I say this, this is his best work yet.
