Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has said the protests held on Wednesday in various states of the country by members of the #RevolutionNow group, is a child’s play and not revolutionary.

Adesina made the statement in an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise on Thursday Morning.

He emphasized the number of protesters that hit the street, saying that only few youths came out from the 200 million Nigerians in the country hence it was not a protest to him.

Adesina said, “Well, was it really a protest? By my estimation, it just seemed like a child’s play because protests by their very nature are spontaneous things, mass things. These are just a sprinkle of people trying to be funny. As far as I am concerned, it is nothing to worry about.
