A new report, with satellite images to back it up, states that China has begun amassing amphibious assault craft along its southeastern coastline in the most efficient location from which to mount an invasion of the island nation of Taiwan.
In addition to the Type 05 amphibius assault craft, the People’s Liberation Army is also amassing PCL191 multiple-launch mobile rocket launchers.

Taiwan, officially known as the Republic of China, sees itself as an independent nation of 25 million people. Beijing, on the other hand, views it as a wayward province that must reunite with the mainland under the principles of the Chinese Communist Party.

The newest escalations also coincide with an official visit to Taiwan by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar. It is the highest level visit to the island since the normalization of ties between Washington and Beijing and implementation of the “One China” policy – which is now going out the window with the Trump administration.

Officially, Azar is going to Taipei to congratulate Taiwan on its response to the coronavirus plandemic. But, his presence on the island is also meant to send a “message of strong support” to the peoples of both Taiwan and mainland China.
