The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday gave administrators of tertiary institutions the green light to begin the 2020/2021 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening on September 7. The board revealed that the shift in the date of admission was meant to allow students sitting for the 2020 Ordinary Level examinations conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO), and National Business and Technical Examination (NBTE) obtain the needed qualifications. JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, announced this yesterday after a consultative virtual meeting with vice-chancellors, Rectors and Provosts of tertiary institutions nationwide.
