Nigerian government and ghanian government by Pat4t5: 1:26pm On Aug 16, 2020 |
Our politicians will be here doing nothing. Ghanians are in Nigeria doing business freely. This government has failed nigerians and even been humiliated by ghanian government by destroying Nigerian embassy building yet the government we have in aso rock are busy justifying their action (can Ghana government do that to other country embassy building? The answer is NO). If ghanian government said that Nigerians can't do retail business in Ghana, ghanians can't also do retail business and even more in Nigeria (this is how a responsible government act). The US government close down Chinese embassy, China government reciprocated by closing US embassy in China(responsible government). 1 Like |

OP, as a Nigerian I understand your pain at the helplessness some are going through doing business outside the shores of this country, and with the added burden that comes with being a Nigerian. However, if all Ghanaian businesses here were closed, we'll lose more in the short and mid term as Nigerians employed will lose jobs and loss of taxable income that flows back to the economy. It might be preferable to rather put pressure on our Government to find a medium term way of supporting Nigerians doing businesses there. This might be through simple things like publishing business guides and maintaining close contact with business communities. While this is going on, back here at home, we re-examine the guidelines on how foreign medium and small companies operate, and if there are good lessons to be drawn from Ghana or elsewhere, we can always adopt. But please, don't go inciting people as this sort of things end up affecting innocent livelihoods. 4 Likes |

donbachi:Abi na puff puff or Alomo business you want close. Ghanaians used to be many in Nigeria doing teaching jobs in the 1990’s and early 2000. There are lots of them also in the transport, shipping and building industry. But we don’t discriminate against them. Go to Apapa wharf and you’ll see lots of Ghanaians in offices. For me, I support the ouster of Yahoo boys messing around in Ghana, but the humiliation of legitimate Nigerian traders is getting out of hand. |

ifytrik:Before you point that fingers on Nigeria, ask yourself who fired the first shot. Ghanaians first deported Nigerians, and after about some years the Shagari government did the same thing - but this time in a devastating manner. What happened then is similar to the nonsense the Ghanaians want to repeat, only that Nigeria is still watching their macabre dance. The ordinary Ghanaians don’t know that thousands if not millions of Ghanaians live in this country. Most of them blend well as Nigerians even carrying our international passport, National ID cards and LGA indigene certificate. But if we begin to misbehave like them, they’ll begin cry to international community. |

Pat4t5: You are a total illiterate which does not know what is happening. Does people working for Nigerian Embassy will end up selling the land for the embassy the same corrupt stuff from the Nigeria. In Democratic Republic of Congo the embassy people so the land of. In Malawi Nigerian Embassy staff sold the land and the embassy house. This also happened in Zambia Nigeria is a correlation with corrupt people leading then. People fooling yourself the country Nigeria is totally finished and everybody knows it |

Eastlink:My friend I have been to more than 17 African countries and I know what goes on in Nigerian embassies and Nigerian diplomatic property. What happened the embassy staff are corrupt they sell the properties and keep the money in their own pocket line to the Nigerian government that the properties are still belonging to them. I have seen this in more than six African countries even some of them go to the extent of selling the high commissioner's house and then moving into a much smaller one. Some of them even sell the embassy land and Property. If it is the same type of corrupt Nigeria people from Nigeria which are working there. What I have noticed with most of the Nigeria people we are illiterate we just open her mouth when we are last everything in the world even been a Republic and Togo is now pushing us around. 1 Like |

Pat4t5: You have to understand one thing that Nigeria people are illiterate. Also Nigeria is a total failure nobody cares about the country everybody is running away. 37% of Nigerians live in the country today are going to other African countries. The country is a total failure. Everybody is now how to run away |
