These dogs seem to be lapping up the beat as they dance in the street — on their hind legs.

The fun photos were taken by Jeric Sadullo, who uses social media to promote dog welfare.

He snaps the mutts while they play. They are among 20 strays he has rescued in the Philippines. Maybe he’s starting his own Pet Shop Boys.

Jeric, who works as a teacher and visual artist, said: “We spend a lot of time playing with my dogs on my breaks from work.

“I work in the city and can come home only on weekends. My family takes care of my dogs with two hired helpers. It is during this playtime where I explored taking pictures of the dogs for sharing.

“And while I’m away, I would just browse my captures and share them on social media. I’m not a trained photographer and just tried to learn my way with loads of playtime, treats, good timing and fast setting for my old camera.

“That’s when I realised there are a lot of things we are missing from the actions and reactions of dogs. It’s too fast for the naked eye.”

Jeric said he uses social media to educate others to treat dogs with respect.

He said: “My photos are well received, and I put characters on the dogs because I’m trying to influence a thought in someone’s mind.

“For them to pay attention to their pets and do the things that a responsible pet owner must do.”

Wonderful.they look so happy.Are the dogs I see locally different?i am yet to see dogs happy and dancing in Nigeria. Is the economic situation affecting them adversely too?

The dogs in Nigeria are currently feeling the hardship in the country, you can never see them dancing. Dog wey dey finish carton of Indomie in a week before dey struggle to get Eba from it's owners now.
