Prsdient of the NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, told Daily Sunsports in Kano at the weekend that plans were on to have the England’s national team, Brazil, Germany and Argentina play in some cities in the country during FIFA windows.

Acording to him, the NFF is evolving a completely new team with invitation to younger players abroad as well as the home-based to form a formidable Super Eagles team that Nigerians would be proud of.

Alhaji Maigari expressed hope that he would be in Brazil this week to open talks with the Brazilian federation on the possibility of playing the Super Eagles in Nigeria. The following week, he disclosed his scheduled travel to England for the same purpose with the FA in London.

"It is our desire to have a solid team within a year, blended, so that people will be comfortable with it because football is the only factor that unites us, makes Nigerians happy. But we need timeto do it, it can't be done over night", he said.

We really need quality matches. We cant keep playn Jamaica, Sierra Leon, Saudi Arabia, or quack sides on FIFA days. How else are we gonna be greater than we were in 1994.
