December 2014,
It came knocking, the enemy that took my sister.

First it was malaria, conquered it with drugs.
It left.

January 2015, it came back with full vengeance.

My stomach was on fire, I couldn't stand aright. I couldn't eat properly, always vomits like my life depended on it.

The pains were much.

Papa "everything hurts" was the words I could utter.

I saw my life right before my eyes.

By 9pm,i lost consciousness.
My blood was 9%,
A blood donor was needed by 10pm.
God came through, we got one by 12am.

Went for medical test, an enlarged spleen was detected..

The drugs were much, but was much needed.
Slowly I started getting better.

Mama cried and cried.
The enemy that took Adanne m, is lurking around.
Papa was afraid, he cannot lose another child.
Fear became our meal.
The same diagnosis, the same symptoms, the pains that I saw in Adanne's case, was mine, and it took her.

It started again
The doctors were worried,
We were referred to Enugu.

We went to Enugu.
Another test was runned..
Blood tests and ultrasound,
They needed to find the cause,

My liver shifted from the normal position, slightly larger. Hepatosplenomegaly was the medical term...

A CT scan was needed for further treatment.
But where is the money to fund it??

Papa cried, his pockets already dried.

Adanne's problem ate deep inside our pockets,

We lost all hopes,
Papa was afraid,
There was no place to get help.
He went to God.
He cried and prayed..

Papa took me to church, God was needed, the pains were much.
He was a faithful believer,
The church prayed,
I prayed,
I don't want to die.

With hope and faith
We went back.

For another medical examination,
They found nothing.

I WAS HEALED!!!

In doubt, we went again

Everything was back to norlmacy.

GOD DID IT!!

HE GAVE US HOPE!!!
