Hello everyone, particularly to the lawyers in the house. I am confused on which NOC to use, either 1242 or 4112. My duties are arrange for seminars, conferences and meetings for staff and employers, rapporteur at seminars, conferences and meetings, prepare papers for publication and other legal documents, conduct in-depth research for law professors and research fellows, carry out subject and general indexing, review and compare current and previous laws and proof read papers for publication and outgoing documents to ensure compliance with legal procedure and grammatical usage and perform general office tasks including compilation of data and writing reports. Please advise on the most suitable NOC. Thank you all. |

Marykelly: If the work experience is not being used to claim points and you are moving it to personal history post ITA, I would guess that you should be able to reflect any date corrections/changes in your eAPR without issues. |

matilda02: I changed my name on my passport many, many, many years ago. As several people have already said: it is not compulsory to change your surname. There is no IRCC requirement for married applicants to bear the same surname as their spouses.....as far as I know. 3 Likes |

opeyewa: It may be clearer if you label the NOC duties 1 to 10 and then place the numbers in front of the relevant JD above that you think matches. That way the NL VOs in-training review will be easier and clearer. I notice though that a few of your duties say "assists in"....this may give the impression that you are not fully responsible for the tasks....and were only a minor contributor. I am open to being corrected. |

Hi, You can prepare the gift deed yourself(type&Print)...have relevant parties sign and take to court to notarize(not necessary). Check page 1 for sample if it's there or someone on the thread can send/share a sample to u Cheers Olanna95: |

TemTon: My guess (na guess o) is that it's looking more like 1242 BUT...... It may be clearer if you label the NOC duties 1 to 10 and then place the numbers in front of the relevant JD above that you think matches. That way, you will be able to see what is in the NOC and what is missing. 1 Like |

Try Acca, if you have previous Accounting background, you just have to take two courses to go your certificate. A month is okay to prepare for each course dianeOzark: 1 Like |

Good evening everyone, stuck at 6.5 in ielts writing second attempt. The detailed result keep suggesting I work on my conclusion. Please help a brother, I need a volunteer writing tutor PLEASEEE, thanks to @Martins, a God sent from this thread, I am sure I would have probably score 2 or 3 in my first attempt if not for his effort and God's grace. Also thinking aloud, if max out all as aimed CRS will still sit at 469, if max 3 CRS 466. For people in this category how are you feeling? Started learning French but I always feel distracted and almost discouraged due to the current setback I am having with ielts considering the outcome of the language I have been studying for over 20years. God please let it end in praise 1 Like |
